Had a great time. They are professional and know how to keep people safe. The equipment is solid. They also take pictures and videos throughout the day. Unlike some other companies, they don’t charge extra for safer gear (e.g. full helmets). Go with them over Gravity, whose standard helmet is a basic skateboarding one. Only downside is that the breakfast and lunch buffet are a bit bland.
Great ride & great sights!!! Particularly loved the first paved part that invokes grand feelings of freedom and adventure. Tour guide Juan was very informative and knowledgeable. Bikes are top tier! Equipments are fully protective. Only regret is that I took off my sunglasses and slipped up halfway in and missed the ending ride, albeit I was blazing through the trail. Skip Gravity and Barracuda, and save a big chunk of money with these guys for a comparable experience. (Just no zipline option.)
Important tip: watch out for streams and wet rocks even during dry season! Stay on dry patches as much as possible. And keep your sunglasses on to prevent being blinded.
Excellent death road tour. Juan was a very informative and entertaining guide
This is going to be very hard to explain. The 95% of the "No fear Adventure" crew members are GREAT professionals and I was impressed by their efforts to keep all of us safe and happy with this great adventure.
However, one member of their crew destroyed everything. The person who drove the yellow Toyota van on February 21, 2018. almost killed all of us (5 tourists and one more crew member). On that day we went back to La Paz after excellent trip that we have with them. My information before the trip was that we will get back NOT by the "highway of death" but by the new paved road that goes around. For some reason the driver of the yellow Toyota van has decided, without informing us, to get back to La Paz driving back by that crazy road (Death Road). That wasn't enough for him: He was driving crazy fast disregarding our requests to slow down.
In one moment we were, "literary" on the edge of the road and we start screaming. It was very scaryI am still getting nervous as soon as I start thinking about it. We are LUCKY that we are still alive. But all of you have to find a safer way to do this trip. If we were lucky - you might not be, who knows. This is very WRONG person for this kind of trip, he cannot realize how big risk was that for all of us. I am very sorry because of all other "No fear Adventure" crew members who are great professionals but their colleague made us a nightmare of this trip. Do NOT go with them unless you are sure that something like will not happen again !

Professional guided and well equipped biking tour, provided with good snacks and lunch. Death road biking is a must do in Bolivia!
Great customer service by this operator! We got picked up at our hostel, got instructions, safety equipment including jacket, trousers, gloves, helmet and safety pads to cycle death road! All day experience with snacks, lunch buffet, shower, t shirt and disk of photos that the guide took. Guide in spoken English too. Paid 350 BOB pp great day out and a must do in La Paz!
Great company. Good tour of Death Road by mountain bikes including all transport and equipment. Buffet lunch was provided after. The staff took lots of pictures of everyone throughout the day and gave us all a CD copy at no extra charge. They also gave us all a 'survivors' t shirt at the end. Good day out. Definitely recommend!
