Before my tour this company was great they awnsered all my questions and when I made a mistake by booking two tours closer together they let me know and helped me make s better scheadual. The only reason that they lost points is because there was a strike so I couldn't complete a tour and they did not help me find a solution on how to get to my next destination. The company they set the tour up with was very helpful.
When I had to cancel a your they have gave me a full refund so that was good. I just would have like more assistance when they plans for mixed up due to a strike.

We booked our 3 days tour to Uyuni through Kanoo Tours. Everything went fine, no issues, the tour met all our expectations. I would say Kanoo Tours are reliable and they work with good tour tour providers. Don't bother to go in La Paz to the agency, the prices are the same as online.

I used Kanoo Tours to book a bus from LaPaz to Arica with mixed results. I picked Kanoo because they had much better reviews than the their competitor - Trans-Salvador. In addition, their website is user friendly for english speakers. After booking, was notified that 1. The cost was 50% more than advertised, and 2. The ticket they sold me was on, you guessed it, Trans-Salvador! Well Trans-Salvador had their issues but did get me to Arica, eventually. Be aware that Kanoo is not a carrier but a ticket broker (it's in the fine print) and you are paying extra for web booking in english, rather than a better bus line. Caveat emptor, amigos!

Helpful and speedy responses to all our questions..We had an amazing time in the salt flats and can recommend both Kanoo tours and red planet but 3 days seemed more than enough and quite hard going really.Bolivia is an amazing place though and well worth the effort

I tried to book a bus transfer/tour from La Paz to Copacabana yesterday for today. My request has not been responded yet but my credit card was charched today morning! So I had to contact my bank in Germany to decline the payment

This was the worst experience ever! Please be aware that if you are booking a tour in Peru they don't even have an office there. At least since August 2017( which online said they would)
I booked a 4 day Trek and when I got to Peru everything I had signed up for wasn't what it seemed. I was put off to one of their "affiliates" that doesn't even show on their website and when I began to ask questions and things got sketchy I asked for a refund, which they denied and I tried to file a claim in which they falsely reported information. If you are planning on booking a hike your best bet might just be booking once you are in Peru. Once we decided for safety reasons not to continue with the tour through Kanoo and was able to book a tour with an agency located in Cusco.

My Mother and I did the 1 day Uyuni Salt Flat tour in March this year. We arrived at Uyuni in the early hours and a lady was already waiting for us. She took us to a restaurant just beside Kanoo Travels office in Uyuni. The lady at the office was very helpful. While my mom and I waited for our vehicle, I watched the lady assist other tourists as well with lots of information. She was the warmest person in Uyuni, on a cool April morning. The tour was in a basic jeep, but the driver was great. He was very knowledgeable, did not rush us, helped us with photography and provided us with a great lunch. He even timed our tour in a way that we experienced the lovely sunset with ample time. Even though I spoke no word of Spanish, my mother and I very much enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend!

I booked the Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu with Kanoo Tours and I could not be happier with the outcome. I chose the 5 day (4 night) trek and had one of the most amazing experiences. Our guides Jose and Martino taught my group many things about the Inca traditions and Quechua language along the way. Jose and Martino made everyone feel comfortable and safe. We shared many stories and laughs and I would do it all over again. What a great group.

We booked a number of tours with Kanoo Tours, like the salar de uyuni tour and the inka jungle trek to Machu Picchu. Booking online was easy, information provided was also on point, and the tours were so much fun! Definitely recommended.

I can't recommend Kanoo Tours enough! They were amazingly helpful from start to finish and genuinely gave us a holiday to remember.

We booked the Salt Flats tour from Bolivia and all the way through to Machu Picchu in Peru (including the world's most dangerous road and lake titikaka) and all went without a hitch!

Thankyou to all at Kanoo Tours!

If you want to pay 20% more for the same service, book there. We booked the Choro Trek and payed more than all the others doing the same 3 day tour. (You have different guides but you stay at the same campsites so after the trekking people eventually will talk to each other).
We rented poles for the walk, one pair of them was way to short to use it.
Our guide was very friendly though-therefore 2 stars.

I have nothing but praise for this company, giving detailed and unbiased advice. In the end I booked bus and train tickets, plus a jungle/pampas combi trip to the jungle. Efficient, friendly and knowledgeable, and prices that are competitive given that you get a quality product. Highly recommended!

I felt the tour company were fab. There were many tour companies that you -could pay online prior to the tour which we wanted to do to know what everything was booked. Corresponadance was really effectient prior to booking I felt confident in my booking. Unfortunently I become extremely ill with food poisioning the day prior to the tour in Bolivia and couldnt go the tour company were amazing they were really supportive and understanding of our situation we thought they obviously wouldnt give us a refund in our amazement they did a full refund the say before thanks Kanootours! :)

Tried to book a tour and bus trip to the salt flats at the Kanoo office located in The Adventure Brew hostel. We waited in an empty office for 20 minutes to have the lady walk in click her mouse about four times and say "I can not help you, you can book these all yourself online." So we walked to Todo Tourism this morning and booked our bus and we will book our salt flat tour with anyone except Kanoo. We watched three other people walk into her office to only walk out less than 30 seconds later. I guess we were bothering her internet surfing time because each I time walk by her office her face in glued to her screen. Thanks for NOTHING! Literally.

My partner and I booked several tours with Kanoo for our trip to Peru in June 2016. Before we left, they were prompt with communications, and helpful and understanding despite us having to make several changes to our bookings.

Their professionalism really shone through though whilst we were on the trip. We had some difficulties with the local operators, and Kanoo were right there to help us out, and advocate for us to sort out the issues. Their post trip service was impeccable, and I can't speak highly enough of them. Great company!

For the record and for total clarity; we also had a very poor experience with Conde tours, the local operator for the Machu Picchu trip. I would recommend requesting they NOT use this company if you are booking a trip there. However, Kanoo as the agents were fantastic throughout.

I booked a number of activities with Kanoo Tours for a trip to Bolivia that I had planned. Unfortunately I had to cancel the trip about a week before. Kanoo Tours was extremely accommodating in refunding my money in a timely manner and only charged a very small penalty. Looking forward to doing all those fun-looking activities some other time!
