  Great hotel in a good and safe area if La Paz. The real touristic center is a 10-15 cab ride away. Amazing views from room, great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely go there again.

  I am remiss in having waited so long after our August stay at this hotel, but enjoyed the visit so much that I wanted to make sure others would hear about it. A great location near the central downtown area of La Paz, it is next to a mall. Tastefully decorated in modern décor, it is a very new hotel that looks stunning. During our visit the service was superb and, to our good fortune, many of the hotel staff members spoke English – a godsend – and were unfailingly accommodating. The room was small, but very well-appointed and stylish. Having traveled extensively, I have no qualms about recommending this hotel to anyone staying in Bolivia. A final note is that, although there are a few good restaurants in walking distance, the one at the hotel was excellent and is worth, at least one visit. Can’t go wrong staying here!

  Wonderful place. I was recovering from surgery. Stayed 6 days. Spotless, wonderful staff, many English speakers, great WiFi, good food, large food court and cinema on lower floors, supermarket very close. And mountain view rooms are spectacular! Very close to U.S. embassy. And many attractions.

  I did not want to stay at Camino Real to uptight. Tried something new and Hotel Stannum hit all my marks. They did not fall short of quality, cleanliness, professionalism kindness, attention to detail, ambiance, scents, spa to relax and in the center of what you need. Near US embassy, theatre coffee haus bars. The attention you'd expect from 5 star but not as big. Will always return here.
