What a pleasant surprise! It was recommended by the staff of the bus company we took (from Cusco). We usually don't trust these types of approach, but rapidly after our usual "hostel hunt", we understood that this hostel was a real bargain! You get a "special price" if you come from the bus company - of which they sell tickets.
The room was large and clean. The view we had on the lake (large windows, 6th floor) was really amazing! The breakfast is included.
Only drawback is that the Wi-Fi is very slow (but it was also the case in the other places we've been too in town).response / report this review -

I came to this place to stay one night only, but I was very mistreated by the recepcionist. His name is Afredo and he gave me a room that the shower was not working and then when I asked to change the room he said that if I was unhappy I could change the hotel. So I asked my money back and left.

Waited in reception to get served for over 20min. Staff came and went and we were completely ignored. Walk out and found somewhere better

DON'T MAKE A RESERVATION! I did a reservation through booking and right before we arrive, the chofer of the bus announced that the hotel had an offer: 5 U$S per person! I've tried to have the same price (through booking you are going to pay about 7-8 U$ per person), but I couldn't cancel my reservation without paying full price. The staff was really rude to me and all the people whose tried to ask the same as me. So I do not recommend booking a room there, because at the end you are going to pay way more the the hotel/room worth!

Clean sheets, warm blanket, well painted room, great view, strong coffee in morning. Breakfast includes bread, fresh fruit, coffee, milk, hot water, hot chocolate powder. I only put 4 stars because the TV in reception area was loud until 11pm and there was mold on bathroom ceiling.

Lovely room, hot water and beautiful view of the lake. Also cheap with good breakfast. Quite chilly at night though

this is my first hostal in Bolivia. Seriously annoying and impolite steps, when I think about Bolivia But rooms nice.
