The museum exhibited the lifestyle, culture and technology of Malay people. A very informative and creative museum, i must say. There were some great displays at length where it made we engrossed in the reality of Malay people in the past.

The museum is abit shielded from the main road thus you need togo through houses. Their exhibits demonstrates the local advancements and evolution of socio economy for the locals from transportation to lodgings. Very interesting and resourcefull

If u happen to be around the city might give this place a visit. Would not need more than 40mins to see everything. Think a cultural museum would better describe this museum.

The museum itself is a bit run down (due to climate, but also due to little attention to it). The learning is great. suggest going here before the water village to learn a lot about this part of Brunei's "above water" culture. Also has a gallery on the different ethnic groups and elements of their subsistence pre- and post-sultanate.

Fishery + Lifestyle of locals in ancient times, don't forget to go behind the museum to see amazing beauty of nature on Brunei river bank and a scenery background.
