  Really nice place to stay, cheapest place in BSB. Perfect location, good room and common area. The owner and the staff are really nice and friendly, they will help you with everything you need. Totally recommended!

  $15 for one day but it was$30 for 2days.

  Good location but that's all. They close at 10pm and then don't let anyone out or in. The rooms are totally overcharged with very bad beds. AC is in a hall and not in a room. Stay away from this place!!

  Vlooien, onbeschofte uitbater. En als er ooit brand uitbreekt sta je beneden voor een ijzeren poort met slot, levensgevaarlijk. Hij mag mijn geld houden, ik ben weg.

  A cheap and friendly place to stay in central BSB. It's basic but clean and both JM and Dimples were super sweet and happy to answer any questions you might have. They also lent me a plug adaptor which was much appreciated. The majority of guests are backpackers and there's a wall of flags with photos of past guests in reception.
  
  I stayed in a 4 person dorm room with no one else in it. Because the walls of rooms do not reach the ceiling (in order to provide air conditioning to everyone) it has the potential to be a bit noisy if there are a lot of guests. Keep this in mind if you are a light sleeper.
  
  Walking distance to Masjid Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien and the Royal Regalia Building.
  
  Joy is located at #9 Jalan McArthur directly across from the waterfront bus station. Just look for the place with flags leading up the steps.
  
  From the airport: take a bus for 1BND to the city centre, they will drop you off one block north of Joy.
  Gates are open until 10pm. If you arrive later just call and JM can open them for you.
