great views of the harbor - we enjoyed a dinner around sunset last week. the cocktails are delicious and unique which was very enjoyable. we had heard that this was the best food on the island from a number of folks, but we did find a couple of other restaurants to be far better. don't get me wrong the food was tasty. our party of four got a variety of dishes all cooked to our preference and we enjoyed exceptional service from the staff.

One of the finest dining experiences on the island. It offers an amazing ambiance and customer services on top of some of the best food on the island. Reservations are a must and should be booked weeks prior to your trip (if not months for travel during high season). The Ceviche is outstanding and the entrees defined what excellent seafood should be. Bonito sets the standard for fine dining on the island and is well worth the price.

We've been together 22 years. We've travelled all over the world together. Our very best meal experience was on a private island in Lake Como, Italy. This meal was the second best of our lives and the best we've had in a restaurant ever. Food was incredible. Service was right on time. The ambiance and the view exceeded expectations. It's worth every penny. Go.

My favorite restaurant on the island. Wasabi martini is fantastic and so are the dumplings. The owner is a sweetheart.

Wow. The food was fantastic; one of the two best meal we had on the island. Drinks were also great, the rhum (rum) old fashioned they had was a great change of pace from the typical whiskey old fashioned. We won't be back to Gustavia without visiting Bonito.
Get a reservation! We visited in low season and when we called to book a table we still had to wait 3 days.response / report this review -

Outstanding ambiance and food. Great view overlooking the harbor. It was somewhat difficult to find, because it's perched up at the top of a very steep hill. However we figured it was worth it and after a few drinks at most certainly was
