Worst Rental location in Bahrain. I booked online at 3.800 BD online but when I got there they said the insurance is 5.000 BD per day which is higher than the rent. Please do not book online with Sixt. They are cheater. Worst rental location on this planet. Even the guys there he was annoying. When I said I would leave the bad review he said please sir. O my God. It was terrible.

I rented a car from sixt rent a car during my stay at the end of November 2017. I must say that my experience was really pleasant. Not only is the counter located within the terminal, but it is also quite close, so you don't have to walk too far with all the luggage. Upon arrival, the employees were nice, courteous and professional and the entire process was fast. I had rented an economy car and to my surprise it was brand new, it even still had all the plastics on it, with less than 600 kms. I kept the car for 10 days and although at the beginning I was nervous, because I had never driven in the Middle East before, I must say, it was ok and straightforward. Everything is written in Arabic and English and it is relatively easy to get around. The car rental is open 24 hours, I had to return it in the middle of the night and it went fast and well. Thank you sixt, I will be back.
