It was okay because it was smelly and seats were uncomfortable and not to mention hell lot of mosquitoes or bugs.. crowds are loud especially for Indian movies..

Update 2019 it's shut down now.. feeling bad as regional Indian movies were our favourites to watch

Used to be the best option for cinema in Bahrain in the early 2000s. Sadly lack of maintenance and bad management ruined it.

I've heard it's permenantly closed now which is sad to know and also this review will not have any purpose.

Al Dana Cinema should not be on your top list for cinemas in Bahrain. The place is under-staffed, lacks basic maintenance and feels old and moldy. It is such a shame because it can be much better with a little more care and attention. I only wish someone would buy these theatres and revamp them

You can experience Variety of movies. No cancellation of movie due to less audience. Only negative thing is the bad smell in the cinemas. It would be good if they have periodic air fresheners on every show.

The atmosphere is very nice & very suitable for watching movies, it's quite & not too crowded & you can guarantee a seat for you ;), after all they just need to update their film category rapidly

I have seen so many Indian movies here that I can't count. They have a good food shop. Cinema although old is pretty comfortable

I'll recommend anyone to watch movie in this cinema as they've not good ambiance and screens.In addition,they've some halls which is more often similar to our living room at home.

The atmosphere of this cinema and Dana mall is really bad. Very boring mall and outdated cinemas and movies. Not so recommended
