Entrance fee is very low and most animals are well cared for. I don’t know how many vet work here, but they seem to be doing a very good job.
Design of gardens and walkways is nice. Most birds look happy. Big cats need more care and better homes. Some parts of the zoo are not accessible on foot which implies the need for golf carts at high cost.
Overall, a good destination for a day out with kids.

Reasonably good. No trees or plants in the wild animal enclosures. No shades for them. Seems to have small A/c enclosures for them- which is a good thing. Animals seems to be a bit lean and fatigued. Lots of empty spaces. Bus, train and private van rides available.

Really nice day out. Very cheap entrance price. On the whole the animals are well cared for, but I do have issues with a chimpanzee which is on its own. It should have company & more stimulation in its enclosure. The bears are also not cared for properly. Their coats are not right so for me show stress. The bears do not have a large enough enclosure & again also they need more stimulation & climbing facilities. The big cats too need more space. A good introduction for some people to see animals they may never get to see in their lifetime. The layout is good and easy to walk. If you use the transport round then you do get access round the other side of the large outside enclosure. No access on foot.

Nice place for a family outing. The kids and elders would both love it.
The place is maintained excellently. Appretiate the authorities in their efforts put to maintain the huge area.
Use of plastic and feeding the animals and bids must be avoided.
Shops inside the premises should not be using plastic materials.

Other than that, it's a must visit place for people coming to Bahrain.

friendly staff. shaded car parking. Good prices for entrance. You have few extra things to pay for in like if you need a golf cart. Or a horse ride. The zoo is open in some areas you can walk under a shaded walkways.
It would be nice to have extra information about the birds and other species.

Don't compare to the zoos in the state. It could be a lot better place. I will start with the positives about the place the saddle up a camel and you can ride the camel. There is a cart that is drawn by a little donkey led by a man. The have some amazing animals. Beautiful bears, wolves, and big cats. Some Ostriches and I think a few emu.
Also the out door exhibit of irrigation system is pretty neat. The negatives is there really isn't a lot there. They also have people on carts that can lead you on a tours but that you have to pay for, they also have a bus tour which is apart of ticket pricing. I feel that those to modes are in conflict a d very confusing. The had a "garden maze" which brought to mind thoughts of English mazes. Not even close. Its a place to go once if you must. I think it just needs lots of improvements. I was not impressed at all.

Presenting animals to zoo visitors as living exhibits teaches children that animals can be manipulated in order to fulfill our own curiosity about them. It suggests that animals have no right to be treated as individuals who think and feel for themselves. It fails to recognise that animals have their own needs to be met, for their own purposes, wild animals in zoos suffer physically and mentally as their complex social, behavioural and physical needs cannot be met in unnatural manmade environments.decide yourself weather to visit a zoo or not

There is a free bus ride including in the entrance fee. Tour guide should also be English speaking. They speak though but sometimes they forget to translate good for educational trip should have accomodate famous fast food chains for more choices. A covered path walk is a must specially in summer time.

Family day out that will put ☺ in the house. Take a tour with a bus 🚍 or private tour on electric gulf carts just to be eco friendly. Or a better option rent a 4 wheel bicycle and get some calories 🔥 but all the sight seeings at park are super cools and educational for all the family. Finish off with coffee at the new coffee 🍵 shop next to the pond and have some feather friends join u to 🌶 out.

Access to the park's animals are provided by tour-buses from the main entrance. Entrance fee is BD1 (Adults) & BD0.500 (child 3–12 years) Admission for child below 3 years old is free. Access to the reserve is restricted, except for specialists, researchers, veterinarians and the animals’ keepers. Entrance to the reserve area of the park is prohibited unless prior permission is obtained. The park itself is a 40-minute drive from Manama, connected by a highway, and is located adjacent to Bahrain International Circuit.

It's getting nicer every time we go. It's only 1 BD to enter. Price is good. You can pay 5 BD to enter the habitat and see the animals up close. They take you on a golf cart and you get out and take pictures. If it had a good food court the experience might be a little better. Big pick nick area next to shaded play ground for kids. Good place to sit after long walk.

Great experience with the park .. nicely maintained park with many types of species available to see .. very knowledgeable as there is specification of every species given .. good for youngsters and kids .. great destination if you are a nature lover .. not only animals but bird scantuary also available to see .. golf cart cars available to roam around 8 acers of land .

Amazing place to go out as a family. Gets a little unbearable in the summers but it was a good experience. Lack of a few animals I'd say but for Bahrain, this was really good.

Well maintained wild life reservation. New facilities have been added. New animals are added to the reservation. However I think many large animals such as lions and cheetah requires larger spaces. They are confined to very small cages.

A good place to visit with kids. They have covered enclosures for small birds and open area for water and migratory birds. Some of the animals like tortoise, camel etc are kept in open enclosure where they can interact with the visitors.
Bus safari is also available as part of the entry fee but needs to be mentioned while booking the tickets and needs to be booked early in the day to get confirmed seats.
Small cafes selling fast food and soft drinks are available inside. Soft toys, live pets etc are sold in separate counters near the entrance.

Hands down, outstanding place for family entertainment. Zoo, Park everything is there.

They have done an outstanding effort in developing and improving this facility. A lot of work is behind this success.

There is a bus service that takes you around the park since it is impossible to cover on foot. It is recommended to visit the park in the early opening hours as buses gets full too early and there remains a very less chance to enjoy that trip around the facility.
