The best hotel in Sveti Vlas. Perfect location and unique view

This was our first time staying on the marina at St. Vlas.
The palace hotel is very well appointed as you would expect from a 5* hotel. The staff are well mannered and attentive. The hotel has a good range of facilities.
Our double sea view room was spacious with a bath and separate shower and a TV in the bathroom!
It had a range of complimentary toiletries surpassing other luxury hotels we have stayed at. The only thing missing were tea and coffee making facilities but having travelled around Bulgaria I know that they are not always common place.
The pool is clean and well maintained and although sat straight on the marina it still feels private. There were only 12 sunbeds out when we visited but there were only some of them in use. I presume they have more if needed. It is a 2 minute walk to the beach which as with most Bulgarian beaches us fine and dandy.
There are 2 restaurants. Marmalad is the less formal of the two. It has a wide range of dishes on offer but does play loud music which can be too loud. They will turn it down if you ask. Generally the service again seems to be good but when we ate there for lunch our waitress didn't seem to be having a very good day. She got our order wrong and was a little grumpy which was a bit a shame as it somewhat spoilt the experience.
The Admiral on the other hand was a totally different experience. The service was second to none and the food and wine delicious. The view of the marina at night from our table was wonderful. We sat for 3 hours we were never rushed. We were made to feel very special. Our waiter was excellent. Attentive and perceptive to our needs.
The hotel on the whole is very quiet but you can get some outside noise at night from the club at the end of the marina. Also if you had a room over the marmalad restaurant you may not like the choice of music. Be mindful when booking.
Overall we had a lovely stay at the hotel. It was very relaxing, private and somewhat special. We will definitely return as it's the small attentions detail that make the place what it is.
I hope that this is a fare and balanced review if a quality hotel and one that assists both the traveller make an informed choice and the hotel maintain and improve where needed.response / report this review -

This is a small luxury beachfront hotel, located in the resort town of St.Vlas, near Burgas (BOJ airport), Bulgaria, and only 4 km away from Bulgaria’s most popular summer resort Sunny Beach.
The hotel is part of a newly developed resort area of higher value, called the Dinevi Resort. The Resorts includes the Marina Dinevi yacht area for 300 yachts, two Blue Flag Caribbean-style sandy beaches, sea promenade with restaurants for fine dining, night clubs, boutiques and Casino.response / report this review -
