A good cheap hotel not too far out from the nightlife but in a quiet area of the resort. Breakfast not the best though. A bonus is the free parking outside the rooms, something that is hard to find in Sunny Beach.

The room at the Tia Maria is okay, with a big bathroom however once the floor is wet this can become a dangerous task to get from one side of the room to the other (you have been warned). When we arrived at the hotel the bed linen in our room was also stained doesn't speak volumes on how clean it is. For meals comes the real disappointment. The dining area is very small in comparison to how many people they cater to and there are only two small islands for the buffet. Bearing in mind one of these islands has all the bread, toaster, butter and old meats so realistically there is only around 9 trays full of food, 3 of these are salad. The assortment is quite poor and the food seems to be pretty much the same each breakfast, lunch and dinner with maybe 1/2 differences. There is also only one dessert! Yes, just ONE. I mean, me and my partner are big dessert eaters so this was just soul destroying. However on the plus side, this hotel did serve very strong alcoholic drinks plus snacks and ice creams providing you are all inclusive. Not a bad hotel, just needs polishing in some areas and to serve desserts!

The maids are stealing from the room. The front desk officers are very nice, but they cover the maiden's actions.
Another inconvenience is that on their site appears having some facilities they actually don't have. For example the kids indoor playground (like in the picture below). They said they never had it, although it appears on their site. Lye after lye, stealing and covering

Doors thin, so you hear everybody in the corridor at night. One elevator could not go to level 1, the hotel knows about fault. Breakfast fine, but most seats in the cellar. Lights in corridor switch off too quickly, and then on when you move. Bad design, no delay. One chair in double room. TV very small and picture noisy, due to bad signal. No soap. Stay away if you need to sleep.

    NEVER AGAIN!!!

When we arrived they moved us to a precisely 1km away hotel. So, they took the money, sold our room to someone else (because we were "late") and moved us to another location. Then we had to waste time to go there for breakfast and dinner, with a 2 years old child! Every single day!

The "manager" (he also presented himself as the owner) was extremely rude and unpleasant! When we arrived he was like "take it or leave it - I don't care".

The staff, as well. Bad English, pushing you around while bringing in the food. No uniforms, some children in beach clothes moving around Not their fault, but this is a very bad organized hotel. PURE AMATEURISM!

Food: LOUSY, a lot of supermarket-bag food. The forks, spoons, knifes GREASY.
The area was so small that we had to wait for 15 minutes to get plates. And then a line for food. And than dirty tables.

All over the place there were signs what was prohibited and how much you will pay unless you obey the rule. This place is for Hotel Impossible show!

NO TOWELS CHANGE in 10 days!

The bathroom was DIRTY, broken shower, smell of mold in the apartment.

    BROKEN TV!
    BAD WI-FI!
Very bad experience! We will never come again.

This hotel was so bad we left after 2 days. Most of the photos on the good reviews are not the hotel as it is now.
Food is terrible with hardly any choice. Lack of cutlery cups etc. Bedding and seating filthy dirty. Staff are unhelpful and didn't care we checked out early. The main reception person who seems to do everything rang me after 2 days of leaving to say they'd notices the room was empty!
