Stupid really stupid and lazy transportation from terminal 1 to terminal 2. you should definately change this and higher the Frequenz of shuttle buses!

Plenty of signs in Bulgarian and English made it was easy enough to find my way around at the airport. The bathrooms were reasonably clean. You should plan ahead and fill out you VAT refund ahead of time if made any substantial purchases.

Counter clerk for Bulgaria Air spoke great English. My checked bags were just over the 23kg weight limit, but the clerk did not give me a hard time, make me re-arrange the contents, nor charge me. Security was fairly light and easy to get through. Airport was clean. A few restaurants were open, even though it was 0545. Flight was ready on time.
