Food was pretty good with a decent selection of both meat and seafood and a diverse selection of drinks (though no cocktails). View and premises were very good. The price was also surprisingly reasonable!
Our waitress, however, was the absolute worst I have ever had in all my travels. We arrived at 745pm on an offpeak Wednesday, and it took her 20mins and several prompts from us and her manager to bring us menus. She then complained behind our back about the prompting. All throughout the meal she acted very sour and refused to even attempt to speak English even though my Asian boyfriend clearly could not understand Bulgarian. We also observed her speaking only Bulgarian with the Russian group next to us, and with the European group on the other side (albeit with a slightly better attitude). Unfortunately we did not get her name but needless to say she should not be working in the hospitality industry in any capacity except perhaps in a training video demonstrating how not to act whilst in the hospitality industry.response / report this review -

Probably the best located restaurant in Burgas. The view is amazing - just on the sea side. I would recommend the visit for dinner during the summer period. The food is usally of a good quality, but very often the plase is pretty busy and you may need to wait a bit longer for your dish. The Neptun night bar is just next door so you could easily move from one spot to another to extend the night.

Tasty food, pleasant location and friendly staff (by local standards). Prices are on the higher side, but well worth it. Beware that the children's playground is not well maintained, so watch out, if you are visiting with children.

Good marine-themed contemporary atmosphere. The service was generally good, waiters were courteous. The fish and seafood risotto were very good, but I cannot say the same for the spring potatoes and the grilled vegetables (too raw, not seasoned well and dominated by onions). Probably one of the best restaurants in Burgas. Located right on the central beach. Food 3.7

The 3 star rating is for the food only because what we ordered actually tasted quite nice and of fairly good quality. The portions were rather generous so we were quite full at the end of our meal. Where the restaurant falls down on is the service. Waiters seemed to be rather amateurish and slow to respond to requests. It appeared that we had to work too hard to get their attention and for them to serve us. I did not expect to have to get their attention by having to shout across the decked area to be served! The food took a long time to come out, but it was good nonetheless once it arrived.

Heard a lot about this place from several locals so finally got around visiting it. Was really pleasantly surprised by the quality and friendly service. They even have a special kids menu with some really fun and healthy options for children. We took the fresh spinach with quinoa salad which was really tasty and fresh. As well as the kids sun smile salad which was really made in a very nice way. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

Would *not* recommend if you are tourist. They will be rolling their eyes at you, talk behind your back ( my girlfriend understands Bulgarian and heard them ), and charge you for overpriced food with low quality.
Furthermore, have a look at how badly the toilets are cleaned there I certainly hope they care more about hygiene in the kitchen.
Do yourself a favor and don't let your evening be destroyed by this place, even if recommended by the hotel as they seem to have some agreements. Bring instead your wife or girlfriend to Бистро РОМА for a great atmosphere and service. Heck, even the restaurant Happy is more romantic than Neptun.response / report this review -

Restaurant looks great, get there ad's there's a bar/club in front do you go around to the seaside. Once we made our way there we asked to be seated outside and they have decking that extends out onto the beach, we asked to be seated out there ad's they said no ad's put us around the side next to a playground and close to the bar where a private party was going on. The place was practically empty to. The food wasn't very good at all, neither of us liked what we had. Water was awesome though. Definitely will not be returning
