Good location near to a large mall, Arena Armeek, and the airport. The reception is lavishly decorated in an Oriental-inspired design. The staff are polite and speak enough English to communicate with American and British travellers appropriately. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided, and were better than expected. A few of the buttons in the lifts were unreliable and didn't work properly, and some of the rooms had somewhat dated decor, though not unkempt. No safety restrictors on windows 17 floors up though! Rooms were spacious enough, large TVs and fairly comfortable beds. Kettles and irons were not provided in rooms but could be asked for at reception. Overall a pleasant enough experience.

Undoubtedly the hottest Hotel in Sofia. Many bars and restaurants under the same roof. Lobby level design is very eccentric, to say the least. See and be seen.

It is very flashy but service is not quite good. You will see a lot of nice cars outside and a lot of shady people. There is a strip club on site

Massive old hotel with renovated and very chic lobby, restaurants, gym, garden, but the rooms are still a bit old and not so cozy. If you can get a room on higher floors the view will be amazing.

we loved staying at this place. very chic, calm and lively : many bars and restaurants in the hotel, a spa, and a very beautiful garden with swans and restaurants around the garden.

Really can't say to much about the place. We only went in for a little scenic tour. Nothing out of the ordinary, very tidy and nice.

Beautiful environment, great services and lovely breakfast, especially when you have enough 💰 to spend, after all A 5-Star experience does mean 5-Star pocket 😂

Amasing place! it was designed by a japanese architect and it was known as the "Japanese hotel". They kept a lot of the spirit of the East. There is a great restaurant as well, with a big japanese garden with peacocks, swans and koi fish.

It used to be one of the landmarks of Sofia. Designed and built under supervision of Japanese architect, it carried stylish Japanese ornaments. Lately it is becoming a very expesive luxury and shiny place with little to no sense of elegance, where all is about glamour. It had a beautiful Japanese cherry trees which were cut for no reason. I would not recommend it neither for business nor tourist stay.

A good option if you are in Sofia. The standard rooms are really old, so make sure you book one the deluxe, which are quite decent. The highlight of the hotel however is the japanese garden. If you visit during the summer months, make sure you have a coffee, or a meal by the lake. There is even a sushi place in the lake.
