The rooms are small but well looked after. Nothing fancy with old fat TVs and just enough space. It's more of a place you use just for sleep and dumping your luggage. The beds are comfortable though and everything functions (mostly). Also, not all rooms have a bathroom/shower. But if you're such a snob to take issue in that then you don't deserve the kind, helpful and amazing service of the owner. Each floor has a general bathroom for everyone. It's kept clean and fresh.

The owner of this hostel is a really amazing person-- very friendly, very helpful, will do anything to make his guests comfortable. The hostel itself is very clean and pleasant and located very close to the downtown. Would definitely recommend!

I have been in Kyustendil in August 2011 with two mates during our trip through south- eastern europe. It is an excellent hostel, very clean and comfortable. the location in front of the mosque at the city center is amazing. furthermore the owner and his family is amazingly friendly.
