Excellent standard throughout, though they seem confused as to what their official Star rating is. The catering was utterly brilliant, and we stopped as half-board (which effectively meant we could get away with a snack for lunch). The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the pool was delicious.
I'd suggest upgrading the smoke detectors as I use an e-cigarette and got disturbed a couple of evenings because my vapour set off the smoke alarm. Moving onto the balcony was no issue though as the nights were lovely and warm.
We went when the International Police Association were holding their 62nd World Congress (September 2017), and it was splendid seeing all the uniforms and being treated to their entertainment while eating our evening meal.

Placed in a very beautiful location, the hotel is a safe choice for families with kids. Good pools and very close to the sea. However, the attention from its personnel is not the best; the dishes and glasses were dirty and both in the hotel and in Albena the waitresses prefer cash because with card "everything goes to the owner" (!). Additionally, the room (heard it happens in other rooms as well) stinks. I think they have a huge sewage problem. Nevertheless, it's an OK solution for an affordable price.

Great pool area. Clean and family friendly. Great restaurants and the meals served at the hotel are Great. Very tasty, and something for everyone.. The apartment smelled of cigarettes, and a little old and worn. But clean and spacious. Had No view. Just stared right into an air conditioner. But outside areas including Beach Were Nice. Fine sand and free sunbeds.

I've had a great time at Flamingo Grand.
The food was fantastic and the personnel was very friendly and helpful.
I have initially rated it 4 stars because, when I arrived, the safe in the room was not working. However, the receptionist suggested that I temporarily use one of the safes in the reception. The next day, the room safe was fixed.response / report this review -

The hotel is amazing. It's truly 5 stars hotel (which is rare for Bulgaria). The staff is welcoming and professional. They offer lots of things, are close to the beach and a walking street. The food is also yummy 😄 I've visited lots of hotels in Bulgaria, includong 5 stars hotels, and I can definitely say that Flamingo Grand was the best one. Happy with my staying

Great place withot any compromise necessary. I can offer for families with small children as well as couples or single travellers looking for some place to take a rest. The panorama from the room is excellent. Flamingo's kitchen also can offer various and good meals.
I can"t say any negative point.
