Very friendly personal, but the hotel hasn't the high level of HILTON hotels, it is one of the very old lower level hotels , the rooms are basic (I have to tip the room maid to clean our room properly) and the food and drinks are just fine nothing fancy . We didn't pay to much for our holiday therefore was ok , would I ever go back there sorry but no !!

Double tree is a good hotel with nice and respectful staff which they help and guide you if you have any question.
They have their own beach wich free shuttle is available.you can use both swimming pool and also they have indoor pool.
Our room had jungle view which was awesome.it was clean and they daily room service.We had wonderful moments

Very nice hotel. It's close to the beach . Very nice staff. Only the animation team was very disappointed. They didn't do nothing for the children. Wasn't friendly at all.

Would not go back, food not very good and very repetitive. Hotel surrounding pools etc were nice.
Room service was poor.
This hotel is not part of the Hilton group despite its name.
Would go back to Bulgaria again but would look more carefully at Hotels.

My Mum and I have just come back from a great weeks holiday. We had a warm welcoming when we first arrived this carried on throughout our stay. Good Variety of food. I Would recommend this hotel and come back.

Great view, nice indoor and outdoor pools & facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Minor problems were solved immediately or almost immediately. Unfortunately room wasn't clean during 5 days stay. Hilton Honors guests aren't being welcome properly, also Hotel has difficulties assigning points & stay. Hotel is missing a high customer service standard that is expected from Hilton brand.

Quite honestly, the most unfriendly hotel I've ever stayed, ask the staff for anything and the answer is NO, ask a 2nd time, they just ignore you. Best thing about this hotel- comfortable bed & pillow!

Overall the hotel is very good with all the facilities being of a very good standard. The location is excellent with it only taking a 10 min walk into the centre of the resort. There are however, just a few points that stop my review being 5 stars. The food could be a little better especially the breakfast, with the cereals not being very tasty and I found uncooked sausage on one occasion. The beds in the rooms as a little soft and I find my back to be quite stiff in the morning. The last point is that some of the bar staff working on the lobby car are a bit slow and this leads to large queues.

Big rooms with sea view! Parking is not available on site! Regular minor problems solved or about to be solved; nothing serious. Better then most hotels in the area!

It's a shame for Hilton to have its brand here, besides lying about the beach having a hotel service (which you have to go to by bus without air conditioning), the hotel has a lot of other problems. The food variety is extremely low (breakfast was the same 6 or so meals every day), they reuse the food for multiple meals, the hotel is dirty, the cleaners come to the rooms every 2 or 3 days, the staff is unhelpful and sometimes rude, the last straw was when the bathroom door broke and nearly fell on me and after complaining to the staff I was met with laughter. I wish I was kidding but I'm not, stay away from this hotel

The only plus for this is the view from the room, if you are lucky to have the room with sea view.
The hotel is not a 4*best case a 2-3*. The food is the worst possible. No internet in the rooms. The rooms look very cheap and somehow dirty, even if the cleaning ladies are coming every day. The drinks are a nightmare and the staff in general has a bad attitude. The only one ok was a young girl from reception.
For me it's the first and last time in this hotel and in Bulgaria.

The hotel was very disapointing. First of all the AC in the lobby is off in yhe middle of the summer.second The food in their was not good and the cleaning of the dishes was horriable, the dishes were dirty.
Third they were acting like we were thiefs from the start we did not get 4 pillows as we shoild have got and then in the check out they implied that we are that we ate thiefs.
Overall we do not recomend this hotel to anyone.
But Varna is a good place to go too.

The worst food in the history of hotel industry combined with unwilling receptionists and a hygiene you would only expect in a 3 star hotel in Cambodias wild life. Our room had no hot water till our 3rd night and the water pipes made a squeeking sound every minute even during night. The best part of our stay was the bed which was actually really comfy and also the reason why we give 2 stars. Dont expect anything "Hilton-like", the hotel may have been a 5 star hotel 20 years ago. In addition, it seems to be located in the worst area of golden sands as it is right in the middle of a party and drinking zone.
