Very helpful and friendly place. It's in the centre of melnik but quite quiet as the rooms are at the back. Our double room with en suite shower was clean and comfortable, though small. A corner room, it had 4 windows, also TV, and fridge. A reasonable breakfast is included in the room rate.

Spend 2 days in Chavkova house in september 2016. Room was clean and larger compared to similar places. Food and staff was great. Highly recomend this place to everyone who visit Melnik.

Great hotel in the centre of the town (near the giant tree), possibly the best in Melnik, highly recommended. Rooms are spacious and clean, beds are comfortable. Restaurant is okay. Staff is very friendly.

I stayed at Chavkova House for two days in October 2012.The rooms may not be luxurious but are very nice and clean. The pricing will depend on the season and was, at least to my experience, very reasonable.

I spent two weeks in Bulgaria in 2012 and this was by far the best hotel I spent a night at.

The best thing about this hotel is the service. If you have any questions considering potential places to visit, the offered food or just want to talk about something, don't be shy to ask and you will get answers.

If you want to find the hotel in Melnik, you don't have to write down the address as it is by far the nicest looking place around. If you visit the small town of Melnik, just drive around and think where the nicest place would be to have a drink and you will certainly will find yourself in front of the Chavkova House.

The (red) house wine is especially recommendable! Try the other ones from the area if you like but the guys there do know what they are doing in selecting the house wine for the season.

We spent a very relaxing weekend in "Chavkova house" hotel. The place is quite pleasant and chilly. We enjoyed a delicious kitchen under the old trees in front of the house. The rooms were clean and the service is wonderful. The hosts were so nice that they even guided us on a trip to Zlatolist. (A must see place!) We will definitely visit Melnik soon again and we will stay in the same house. We strongly recommend it.
