The path to the cave is not very good and the climbing little hard, but it is well worth it. Great place to visit and see the wonders of nature!

Some extra info about the cave trip: If you come by car, there are 2 parking lots available. The first one is at coordinates 42.017489,24.280969 and the second one is right where the ecotrail to the cave starts. If you park at the first one you have about 40 minutes walk to the ecotrail. The ecotrail starts at coordinates 42.001251,24.281294. Its length is 830 metres and it takes about 20-25 minutes to climb to the cave. Tourists can visit the cave in groups every hour starting from 10:15 and up until 17:15. Admission fee is 5 leva. More info is available on the photos I posted.

to reach the cave you have to drive up a bumpy road, and then go uphill through a beautiful forest- 2 km of a nice walk. The cave itself- there are parts of it which are closed with ropes. that was little bit disappointing. the whole walk through the cave +looking around took us about 20 minutes.
The bonus is that it is not crowded' we were there alone.

Amazing experience. It did require some challenging walking up the path/hill. But is WELL worth it.

Not the deepest or largest, but one of the prettiest caves in Bulgaria with lots of different formations. However the treck form the parking to the cave is not the easiest. Very steep in places. It takes good 30min to reach. The road leading to the parking itself is full of holes too.

We visited during our way to Plovdiv. You take 2.5 km with your car and last 0.5 km with a really steep slope. I climbed it with my kid and believe me it's not even easy by yourself. The last tour is at 17:15 be aware of this. The cave is not so big and the tour is only in Bulgarian. And about the WC I haven't checked it but my wife and kid told me that it's the worst in lifetime :) So better to use the bushes around 😀
