  Great enterprise with new enthusiastic ownership and management who make you welcome as soon as you enter. Lovely light and airy bar, great food from a kitchen that you can see, outdoor pool and a beautiful relaxed garden with shady overhead vines to stay cool. Rooms are fresh, clean and crisp with an interesting nautical ⚓ theme.

  I highly recommend Resen Lodge (Villa Resen) if you like water falls, rock climbing or want to experience traditional Bulgarian life style in a clean & cozy place. The owner Ronnie made us feel like we are the family members since we arrived. You can also drive to the water falls near by or go rock climbing on the way to visit historical Bulgarian old Capital, Veliko Tarnovo. The village mini supermarket is just in walking distance and the food is super cheap, a bottle of beer costs only 0.5 Euro
