  Lovely town in Belgium's eastern province Limburg. It has a number of buildings with frescoes such as the main church that has recently been renovated so the colours of the frescoes sparkle as if just painted. Also the abbey (with its destroyed church due to a fire but the tower can be climbed to see the surrounding area) as well as the beguinage have important frescoes. There are also a number of castles in town and in the surrounding villages. Also known as the main fruit centre of Belgium and worth a visit during spring when the trees are flowering.

  Quite informative and informative staff, I have been here to have information about Blossom festivities, one strange things was they were giving large booklets for free and charging for small maps for walking and Car tours.
