Lots to see, but the museum isn't maintained well. A lot of the electronics were broken and the place feels and smells like an attic at times. Still worth a visit though, especially with young kids or for a nostalgic trip.
They can be flexible with price if you get there like 2 hours before close otherwise it's over price. This is a good place to spend an hour but could be longer if you understand Flemish. The price however is quite expensive for one hour experience in a foreign language.
The kids absolutely love it!
Great afternoon out. Plenty to see and play with. No parking provided and a bit over priced. 18euro for adult and child.
Nice place for children. But all is in Dutch and it is cold in winter. It's a pity.
All the museum is in Dutch only!! No English explanation, no French! It's incredible, such a worst vision of the world, limited to their own language. Don't spend your money there.. You can find better museum elsewhere Where everything is translate in all languages!
The museum displays a wide collection of toys, from ancient wooden dolls to modern electronics and video games and an explanation of their context.
It is located in the center of Mechelen over 3 floors.
It is a very calm and relaxing museum, with a cafeteria and a small store.
AS expected, kids love it and it's the perfect place for a relaxing activity.
