Great building. Good museum. Amazing views from the top (you don't need to pay to go to the top)

The museum is not so impressive inside but this building is beautiful. Small port with all these boats is so cute. Gives nice atmosphere. Love to come there .

Also on my list of favourite Antwerp museum's. You've to start on the top this postmodern Art Deco building and work you way down This part of the museum is accessible for free! You can try to sneak into the exhibitions, but I always failed to get in! 😉

Worth a visit, even without paying. You can access the first few floors and go al the way to the top for a nice view over Antwerp. If you do decide to pay for the museum you're allowed to enter the exhibitions on the other floors. These range from modern art to the history of the city, and is worth the money. Most floors offer some kind of activity to keep kids occupied. The building itself has some cool architecture and looks great from both the inside and the outside.
Keep this one in mind when visiting Antwerp.

Great museum to discover a lot about the history of Antwerp and from cultures around the world, like the African continent, a lot about trading in Antwerp and around Europe. After every exhibition there is a special thing to do which makes interaction with the visitors very good. Also the guiding looks very good and is located on 15 minutes from the center of the big city of Antwerp. It has a nice Square to relax at to sit and you can walk on the roof and take a drink at the top of the amazing view giving roof. You can see a lot of the city including the famous Our-Lady Cathedral.

Wonderful place! Worth to visit this.

15-20min away from the city centre , but walkable. On the 8th floor you can enjoy the view of the city. Really beautiful if the weather is nice.

6-7 floors depending on the exhibition thats going on are available to visit. You need to buy one ticket and you can enjoy the exhibition on all floors.

One of the biggest architectural attractions in Antwerp. Located in a trendy part of the city. You can visit the panoramic view for free. It's a pretty sight ofcourse.

The exhibition about the relationship between the town and food is original and educational. Also enjoyed the one about how different cultures treat life and death and the one about demonstration of power.
The museum is placed in one of the best locations in town, definitely something to visit when you're in Antwerp!
Last Wednesday of every month it's free.

Our visit to this iconic museum was a fantastic experience for my family. It has several floors (10) where different exhibitions are held. Once we made our way up to the roof, did we truly appreciate the view of the city. What a view indeed. You can see the river flowing pass the city and the ancient city as well as the new development rising up everywhere. Antwerp is a true cosmopolitan city and its arts and culture shows is an indication of it. It celebrates its artists unlike other places I visited. The MAS is an indication of this celebration. It is free on certain days and the normal price is reasonable. It has a restaurant and a curious shop as well.
