This isn't a review for the hotel but the waitstaff and the food. I wouldn't say the food was really great I did try a waffle and it was just ok. A little cold so I thought it had been sitting out for a while. But they did offer Kir in the menu and I really liked sitting outside since it was close to the river. There are a lot of boats that pass by, and a number of tourists taking pictures at this spot. Be prepared for that. But then the location is beautiful and its one of the better spots to have a drink by the water. H was with me and she tried a couple of beers, she gives them both thumbs up and even took their names down. They were recommended to her by the wait staff. I will say that they mostly speak Flemish there but will make the effort to understand you and also managed to wrap up my waffle making sure I had butter and condiments to take with me. Sweet!

Excellent location overlooking the canals of Bruges, of course this isn't cheap! Also nice outdoor seating, try the waffle :-)

Came here for our honeymoon and it was absolutely lovely! Location was perfect. Views were amazing. the staff were what made this place so special- They were so friendly and keen to help. Beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were beautiful in general. (also the shower was beyond amazing With 3 different shower settings!)

The only bad thing which we experienced was a mix up with the front desk. We asked if they did laundry and they said they did but missed telling us it cost money. We got our laundry back and they said it would cost 170 euro. We were surprised and explained the misunderstanding. They were very shocked that we weren't told but very understanding. In the end they took the price down to 50 euro and paid the remaining 120 out of their own pocket, which we are extremely greatful for. Thank you for that!

The other bad thing was that the sink plug was broken and the bathroom door was very odd and could only be opened or closed from inside But I'm nitpicking!

All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel and I hope we will be visiting again in the years to come!

Amazing hotel with so much character. Extremely friend staff. Perfect location, 5min to the Belfry, 10min walk to de half man brewery, seconds from great lunch and dinner spots.

I made a stop in the hotel tea room. The setting is quite nice located at the end of a pedestrian cul de sac with a view on the canal. The waitress was great. However the tea menu was quite short with only a choice of waffles and apple tart of course with luxury prices. The waffle was ok while not being the best in Belgium. My disappointment came from the tea: Twinning is a good brand but definitely not what you expect from a tea room labeled ****L.

Lovely little hotel, the rooms are beautiful, the staff very friendly and it is in an ideal location! Free tea and coffee is also provided in the restaurant downstairs overlooking the canals, worth every penny. Bruges is a lovely city and this is the perfect place to enjoy it from.

Would definitely come back!

What an awesome boutique hotel! The people that work here are amazing! Roel is one person who made our trip - he had great restaurant recommendations and was very patients with our questions!

This is a small hotel (16 rooms only) but is located in the heart of Brugge. I highly recommend checking room rates on other 3rd party websites such as Hotel Club because if you book directly with the hotel, the rates are significantly more.

We would stay here again!
