Very nice place but busy. Try the locally made 'tartine au fromage de Maredsous if you are hungry. Place is a well known stop for bikers.

while their beer may be good it is more expensive here than a bar or food store. the breads and cheeses are more expensive here than at the food store. this is kind of a tourist trap. you can see from the receipt the cost of a pizza, soda and two coffees.

Good place for tasting the beers and cheeses made by the monks. The visit inside the abbey is not recommended if you think you are going to see their brewery. Only how monks live. Visits are not in English.

A gorgeous abbey with great food, delicious beer and cheese made on site . The guided tours are definitely not to be missed.
