Awesome facilities, including parking. Super great service, by waiters who know what they are doing. The food is very tasty and high quality. I was happy with this discovery, just "stumbled across it" on a Sunday walk.

This place has a reputation of being a fancy and quaint terrace for the Belgian classy audience. Whereas this might be true for the fresh seafood, it seems that the staff is somehow mistaking themselves for the audience they'd like to see.
Be prepared to struggle for the attention of the waiters and be also prepared to hearing "I'm not responsible" until you find the person servicing​ your table.
The terrace seems nice for groups and at the evenings and there is a wide choice of fresh seafood, prepared by the voiturier who parks your car and treats your Oysters with the same pair of gloves.
Further there is a wide choice of wines and Belgian specialities around fish and meat, close to no vegetarian dishes though. Prices are above average.
The lack of professionalism paired with high prices and and even higher self-perception will not change over night but only over management. Hopefully a unequivocal review helps to get there, George.response / report this review -

Traditional old-fashion Belgian brasserie, a "must-do", staff is extremely friendly and caring, great selection of fish and meat- based dishes, beautiful 19th century setting.

I can honestly say that I had my worst experience ever in a restaurant.
Let's start with the plus side. The fish and seafood were absolutely great as far as my group said.
Now for the rest. We had to wait for hours for any bits of service. The menus were late, our dishes were late, everything was late.
If you are not a fish or meat eater, please go elsewere. Don't even bother to try. There are some dishes on the menu but you will have to make due yourself to be fed.
Furthermore, do not hesitate to ask for whatever you want twice. Then check the bill. You are not serviced by the same waiter therefore your orders get lost, forgotten, mistaken for something else then added on the bill nonetheless
It is noisy, crowded (I think they are trying to break the record of the most gests per square meter) and there's no care for the hosts.response / report this review -

We were here, because it's a place you can eat Belgium fries made by horse fat, goose fat or ox fat. The fries was good, but quite expensive. A small bowl cost 5€. The Ambiente is nice and the waiters are professional, but feel a little cold. The oyster are really fresh and tasty.
