I was so sad to hear that you are travelling to Israel with the support of the Israeli government. Participating in an event in Israel called farmer to table is literally whitewashing daily crimes committed by Israel. Israel on a daily basis confiscated Palestinian farmers' land, destroys crops, confiscates material, oppresses them and their families and destroys their markets by selling cheap crops and setting up checkpoints.

Many people who travel to Israel claim that they are not political. But you travel to a country where farmers were expelled and continue to be expelled from their fields by brute force. Sewage from Israeli, jewish only colonies, is dumped on top of whatever is left of that land. Checkpoints make sure products cannot be sold easily and so they cannot compete with the products coming from Israeli settlements farmed on stolen land.

To be going on such a theme and with the support of the Israeli government is extremely ignorant. I hope that now you know, you will cancel your participation.

I hope you will try to still get correct information and cancel your participation. Do not allow the Israeli government to abuse your good name for their whitewashing while 2 million people in Gaza are still locked up and Israel is publicly speaking to annex the majority of the remaining farmable lands in the Palestinian occupied West Bank.

L’air du Temps is a two Michelin-starred restaurant with dishes prepared by chef Sang-Hoon Degeimbre and his team. He describes himself as “a Korean born, a Belgian man and a citizen of the world”; I believe this description extends into his culinary creations. You can see the Korean influence as well as the Belgian one throughout his cuisine.

Situated in an area far from the hustle and bustle of the city, in a peaceful area with gardens, L’air du Temps truthfully makes you feel as if you have stepped into a different world. It was a nice touch to present a card with our choice of set menu highlighted on the page before the food arrived. Garnished with colorful pristine flowers, the dishes are inviting. I love the element of surprise when you have ordered a set menu; it makes a person long to see what will come next. This was the case here, I would be eager to see how art and food come together in the plate to follow. In some instances, things would even seemingly appear to be something that they aren’t because they would be presented in a different texture or form than we are used to seeing.

To describe the service, one can only say that it was truly impeccable. The staff was knowledgeable and alert; explaining the constituents of our meal as well as that of the wines or waters being paired with them. Yes, I did say waters in the plural form. Something I really enjoyed and found interesting was that you could choose to pair different naturally flavored waters with what you were eating; they came in various colors that also brightened the table. As it turns out, the minimalism of the decor had been misleading; it had just been the platform from which these intriguing complex inventions could be showcased.

I was going to make a reservation at this restaurant but then I found out that the chef, Sang Hoon Degeimbre, works closely with the Israeli government as part of an initiative called Round Tables. The goal of the initiative is to whitewash Israeli crimes against Palestinians through culinary. I love food but I love human rights even more. I hope other customers also see that no matter how many Michelin stars this restaurant has, it will leave a bad after taste knowing that the chef is compromising ethics in support of an oppressive government. I would gladly change my review if the chef cancels his participation.

Brilliant new venue for this restaurant that is now where it belongs to be: in the middle of the Belgian fields. Chef Sang Hoon demonstrates a unique virtue in his treatment of vegetables, respecting their core flavors and combining them with new culinary partners. The meats could be improved, with some odd combinations. The wine list could also be expanded, as it lacks a bit more diversity. Very attentive staff, even in the face of challenging customers, as I witnessed with my fellow diners during my meal at this wonderful restaurant. Highly recommended.

Discovered this restaurant a few years ago and still enjoy it with friends and family. I would recommend to stay over night if you have chosen the wine to accompany your meal ☺️
The management of the staff seems good and consistent you get to see the same People over the years and the chef is very creative. We also enjoyed the breakfast very much. High quality ingredients used overall.
Happy to have this gem in Belgium !

Amazed by the original experience (if you are lucky, you might be invited to eat one of the courses in the Chef's kitchen) and the delicious food. The Chef San Degeimbre and his team clearly know how to please and surprise their guests in this beautifully refurbished old house.
