Beautiful individually decorated rooms. Friendly staff. Does not serve beer after 22 though.

The restaurant has some of the most unfriendly waiters that I have ever encountered. The food is good but the service was not acceptable.

We just went to the restaurant. Horrible service. Unfriendly and not welcoming at all. We waited 12 mins after ordering before they told us my girlfriend couldn't have her dish and after 25 mins they told us i couldn't have mine either. So we just ordered 1 dessert (lava cake) which took about 35 mins. They weren't sorry about it, they just stayed grumpy.

A few things: the bath tub was nice but you can't affix the shower head to the wall So you have to continue to hold the shower with one hand all the time, in order to shower! No vending machines. Don't forget to bring a wall plug adapter to convert into the round type plugs that are used in Belgium. Overall, the area around the hotel looks very safe even though it is completely empty at night. Shops are at least 15 minutes walk. Lots of students, happy, positive, (but very quiet) environment. Buses are close by. Train runs close to the hotel, but I never really heard the trains because they are so silent and smooth and they don't blow their horns or sirens. Local people were super, super, friendly and all could speak English ( even though you will not see any signs in English anywhere).
While having a restaurant is convenient, I didn't really like their food. And The closest fast food chain is beyond walking distance so I took my chances with local restaurants about 15 min walk away.

Bad experience in their restaurant. We had an insanely long waiting time to get our meal served (60+ minutes), with 2 young kids. No excuses from a clearly disorganised staff. And the food was very expensive (bad value for money).

Hotel looks nice, but most of the staff seem to be apprentices - trying hard, but incompetent (and not very skilled in English). Other members of the staff are ridiculously rude, the prices for the rooms (too) high.
