Comfortable . Quiet .very nice atmosphere
You can smell the history down the lounge.
It the oldest building in Kortrjik and one of oldest buildings in Europe I guess.

I have visited the included restaurant together with my Chinese coworkers. The food was very fresh and the service was fair. So why only 3 Stars ? That is because of the waiting time. We were in total 8 Persons. And the 3 course menue takes nearly 2.5 hours. This is, in my point of view to much even all was fresh and well prepared. (see included Photos) So if you have to spare a lot of time with your friends you can go there. Please be aware if you are more then 6 persons you are forced to take a menu and can not choose A la Carter.

Very beautiful hotel in a great location right in front of the grote market. Rooms heated by radiators, tubes were in the walls and floor made the rooms very hot could not be turned off. Our room was also very small with not stand up shower.

Monday 12 pm 15 August 2016. We arrived to stay at this Hotel for the week. We exited the next day due to bad customer service at the reception, unsafe slippy uneven bath with a shower overhead. The bedroom is nicely decorated though there was nowhere to hang up your clothes apart from a makeshift cupboard that had a fridge and a safe. Not possible to hang clothes without them falling off due to the tiny amount of space. The Voiles and windows were very dirty, not what we expect for a 4 star hotel. We booked into the Park Hotel Kortrijk instead and had a lovely stay. Will not be staying at the unwelcoming Damier Hotel again.
