When you leave the elevator to enter your room, it all looks very small. However, you have plenty of room, it's clean, the bed and the shower are good and there is a lot of choice at breakfast.

Love this hotel spotless, lovely staff and very central. I this it would be perfect in the summer as it is 1 minute from the beautiful beach.

Best breakfast in Oostende. If you don't like soft bed, you don't sleep well. Hotel has two different block. Second block is not suitable for wheelchair but first one has direct access without stairs.

We have just returned home after having stayed in the mercure hotel. Staff weren't in our opinion very friendly. The meals weren't as good as we expected for a four star hotel. We asked two times for a wake up call which we didn't receive. I was a bit disgusted considering we had a flight back to the UK and had to get on a train to Brussels airport which takes just under a couple of hours. It was a good job we had our alarm on our phones or we could of missed our flight. So quite honestly I wouldn't go back to this particular hotel. I loved ostend absolutely beautiful.

The family rooms are really wonderful and tidy. Breakfast is excellent with a lot of vegan options.

The hotel is in an ideal central location and not far from a car park. The service was great - they let us check in early and uogradd oir room free of charge becasue my husband was not well. The fact the rooms are air conditioned is a massive bonus. It's our second visit and we will come again.

Lobby and reception area was nice. The back building (using the rear elevator) smelled old and musty upon entering. When we entered the room, it smelled really bad, but we tried to ignore it and left. We came back later and the smell was horrible. It smelled like there was a serious problem with the sewer. There was NO WAY we could have stayed there. We were put into a new room in the front building and the smell was much better. If you stay at this place, make sure your room is in the front. The doors to the rooms slam really loudly and it is disruptive during the night. There were used tissues on the floor of the elevator for over 24 hours. This place was not very clean and not really recommended.

Good value. Only negative point:acoustics. There is street noise coming from the square at night, and the internal doors make a terrible slamming sound when other guests arrive.

Really good modern hotel in a great location in the centre of the town, just down the road from our favourite chicken restaurant. The room also came with a good air con unit which was very handy in the summer. The staff are helpful and friendly and speak good English.

This hotel has small yet very beautiful and clean rooms. The breakfast is a tasty, varied buffet.

There is everything that is required for 1-2 day delegation. Clean room with wifi access. Tasty breakfasts and nice room service.

I would suggest to look for something bigger in case of longer trip.
