Sans Cravate was a really special surprise we thought that we had booked for the sister restaurant but when were taken through the sliding door and was offered some Champagne we couldn't say no! The restaurant is modern and Earthy and I would describe the food in a similar way. It's well worth a visit and despite paying more we couldn't care less because it was amazing. We went for the 3 course menu but with all of the additional little extras that kept coming our way it felt like we had the 9 course menu. We left feeling really happy that we ended up in Sans Cravate and so will you.

Didn't eat as menu didn't look appetizing and noone else was there.

Food is really good and wine pairing works wonderfully well with the meal. Sadly, the value for money is just not there.

Far from the touristy crowds, this gastronomic heaven was absolutely stunning and truly impeccable service.

Good but not wow. Small portions and some strange combinations.

Mains were good. Appetizers were bad and very expensive. They won't tell you what is on the tasting menu, and then they charge you the same price for the appetizers as the tasting menu. We ordered one app, they charged for 3 and said the whole table had to do it (165 euro). Too much good food in Brugge to go here. Also beer was warm, and they wouldn't change it for something else.

    EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: TERRIBLE SERVICE.

My husband and I choose the 4-course menu with accompanying wines. This would have been great, if the waiter actually served us the wines. At the main course, we were sipping a Riesling - I asked him if this was intentionally, after which he said 'sorry' and that was it. Another waiter (somehow there were four people coming to the table, without communicating with each other what the other had done), also not older than 18 (I encourage employing young people, but please have an older person with more experience stepping in to tell you something sensible about the wine, other than it being "full of minerals"). The second waiter told us that a cheese plate would be served. Assuming that this was part of the menu, we had the cheese (still drinking the Riesling, mysteriously). When paying the bill, they charged us each for a separate cheese plate. When I tried to explain that I was confused (it was never asked, just served) that they billed this item, the hostess responded aggressively: "My personnel would never do that." There was no room for discussion. All in all a bitter aftertaste of what could have been a nice evening. I would recommend this place to critically look at their staff friendliness and introduce them to a course How to Welcome Guests and Treat Them Well 1.0.
