Bad experience at the restaurant, the maitre d almost pushed us out with his hands getting nervous when we asked for a table with a canal view , instead of the table that he offered in the middle , he said "no table for YOU ",even though people were clearing a window table . the incident occured onTuesday 31 october around 2 pm , this man should be fired as soon as possible, he's surely a RACIST and one of the mostly rude bad mannered men I've ever seen , giving a bad reputation to this lovely city and hotel .

Beautiful traditional restaurant in great setting by the canal. There's an old school vibe in everything - from the dishes to the service and decor - a reliable choice, you know what you are getting the minute you step inside. Recommended!

Lovely place when you try to have a drink in one of those "luxurious" restaurants and you are told that it's a restaurant and you should order food as well otherwise you are not allowed!!! Very "hospitable" Brugges!))

Very strange rules. You can't share 1,2 kg of mussels with your spouse. You can't order just soup, only with the main course. I believe, that is the reason why big restaurant is completely empty Friday evening.

Well established very old restaurant approximately 150 years old.
Food was excellent.
Was surprised to see waiters wearing jeans not trousers in this type of restaurant.
Service, although pleasant and friendly, was painfully slow and the waiters not sufficiently attentive.
However I'd still recommend as it has a great view over the canal and if you're not too rushed a very pleasant meal. A bit of staff training wouldn't go amiss.

Lovely charming hotel in a very scenic location. Like that their restaurant has a gorgeous view of the canals and especially the swans that swim there. A little old but that's the beauty of antique in a medieval town that brings you back to centuries ago. Lovely lady who gave me some hot water kettle to bring upstairs to my room. Like the toiletries they gave, feels very pampering.
