We went in for a quick lunch - so I suspect that our experience was not what it might have been if we had selected something on the menu that wasn't chosen for speed. We all had CrocMonsieur as we thought "ahhhh . toasted cheese". Well priced and you got HEAPS . but we think it was pre-toasted. The bread was brittle and SO dry - which was a shame - as the cheese and ham inside were of a good quality.
From a service point of view - the waiter was very helpful - explaining the various beers and taking his time to help us even though the place was busy. Good display of info re the NZ troops who fought near Zonnebeke in the Battle of the Somme. A bit incongruous - but really very interesting.response / report this review -

A great cafe, the cheese platter is definitely recommended. Their beers are pretty good too.

Nice restaurant, ideal for family lunches. Has a small museum linked to the cheese factory, which can be nice if you find this topic interesting.
