Surprisingly nice modern hotel in the middle of Turnhout right next to grocery store. Very quiet, good breakfast, rooms are spacious. TV was tiny and not a very large selection of channels. No tiny bottles of toiletries, just pump dispensers in bathroom and shower.

Friendly obliging staff.Good nutritional breakfast.Wifi generally fine.Good parking.5 mins from market square.Clean.would pass mother-in-law dust finger testspent 5 days here and would have no hesitation staying again.

Avoid at all costs.
1st evening : the room appears clean. The shower was the catch. Traces of unknown substance behind the door and on the walls in the bathroom. Some of it had even dropped on the floor. Needless to say the floor hadn't been cleaned and said substance looked dry from several days (I didn't touch it to check).
1st night : I've been hearing the receptionist walking on high heels the whole night on the ground floor (I was on the 1st). Could hear ventilation from buildings around (or from the hotel, not sure) even windows closed. Couldn't sleep until very late. Beds are OK
1st morning: There is a public parking right next to the hotel. Therefore you hear the vehicles starting at 6am, construction work starts at 7, no noise isolation. A colleague of mine told me he experience shower sound first hand from his neighbors.
The maid even stole my phone charger. How twisted can that be, it never left the room !
In the end I'm adding 1 star as they agreed to change my room without arguing and the next one had a definitely enhanced cleaning session (after I moved into it, I saw the difference).
The price is clearly oversold. for the same price you get worldwide brand which, at least, are clean.response / report this review -

Just stayed during a business visit so not much time a the hotel but it's okay.
A bit old but the are updating it with renovations.
The breakfast is fine but not special but you have what you need.

Old and overpriced.
Lower your expectations after seeing the ground floor. It's the only floor that has been renewed.
Heating system is old and does not work very well.
Rooms are old and depressing.
Sleep quality depends of your neighbours.
Breakfast is also overpriced.
