Owner super friendly. Nice to have easy access to lockers and center of town. Cons it's kind of a maze. Cons got bitten by bugs badly yes the sheets are clean but the rooms need to be cleaned too.

Well, the rooms stank. You don't have the keys of the bathroom, so anyone can get in while you're taking your shower. You don't have any blinds on the bed, so you don't have any kind of privacy. Plus you also don't have any outlet per bed, so it's hard to charge your stuff. We really didn't like it and left after one night even though we booked 2.

It is one of the best value for money places to stay in Bruges. The bar on the ground floor is very good for cheap beer and games. It is also the only place open till late night. Everything is as you would expect from a hostel - tiny rooms crammed with beds, shared bathrooms that were just clean enough and young crowd. It is 5 mins walk from the Belfry, so a superb location.

Almost worst stay in the world. Other hostels nearby exist - stay there. I booked a room of 6, they gave me a room of 8, then said, so sorry when I complained, they didn't care at all. They said that is how a hostel works, I've stayed in hostels all over the world - I've never been told this. Room and area stinks of puke. Room was tiny since it was made to fit 3 bunk beds, not 4. Room was always wet due to the shower not working well and a pool of water formed on the bathroom floor, thus water was dragged all over the room. Very loud all around since loud music goes till 4am from downstairs. I expect 2 or so, but 4. For these reasons, had to keep windows close, which made it stink worse and made it hotter. Only 2 sockets in the room for 8 people, need to go downstairs to charge anything. I'd call this a dive bar with a dive hostel attached. Reason for one star in the first place is the location and pool tables downstairs. Worst part though is the customer service, I am shocked how they care less about their clientele. Most others I've stayed care about their guests, here it's an in and out, push you through stay. This hostel and one I stayed in Nanjing tie for worst in the world, thus far.

unhygiene and damp place. There were bugs on the sheets provided. would not recommend although its close to market place. Can find better ones.

Bedrooms are very medium but okay. Bathrooms are terrible tho, no towels are provided for example and there is a lot of dust. The place is very noisy, about 80dB 'til 3am. The good points : the location and price (18e/night)

I cannot recommend this place as a hostel.

Upon arrival, my friend and I saw a sign on one of the doors saying "Curfew at 4.00am", which we assumed was kind of a joke. Later that night we understood why: the place is mainly a bar and they play super loud music (which, obviously, can be heard from the hostel rooms) until very late at night (for sure later than 1.30am, I don't know the exact time). Needless to say, the quality of sleep was quite bad due to that.

As for the room, a couple of things:
(1) the beds were very comfortable;
(2) there was a sink and mirror in our room, which was nice;
(3) there was a window on the ceiling or more like the ceiling was made partially from glass, which means that as soon as the sun came up in the morning there was light in the room, further decreasing the quality of sleep. Fortunately my friend and I managed to get beds that were not right below this "window", so we didn't have the sun directly in our faces.

The restroom was in poor shape. I was very disappointed to see that the toilet could not be locked. As a guy, I still used it without problem, but the toilet (please note the singular form, i.e. "one toilet") was for both men and women. There was a girl who was uncomfortable using this toilet and I am assuming she went elsewhere.

On the plus side: price is decent, location is good (although Brugge is quite small frankly, any hostel is within walking distance of the historical center), and the staff is friendly. Nevertheless, for me the late night music situation was a deal breaker.

Great place for people looking to drink beer till late at night. However, when you want to go to bed early I do not recommend this place. The bar is open till 4 or 6 at night and has loud music. Furthermore the check in was chaotic, you do it behind the bar with in our case a band playing a few meters next to us. I had a fantastic time playing pool and meeting new people while enjoying their decent variety of beers.
