I went to this hotel just last weekend. Reading some of the previous comments made me anxious because of the dated rooms and/or bedbugs I have read about. The hotel itself is dated yes, but nevertheless the interior rooms are taken care after. Our hotel room was on the 4th floor, and I think its rather new cause the room itself was really modern and looked recently renovated. The bathroom was a bith tiny, but no complaints about hygiene whatsoever ! The room in general was grate! Breakfast was served on the ground floor, and while its not a big breakfast or with much choice, it is a standard and normal breakfast..
No bad experiences at all with this hotel!

Outdated interior, room/airconditioning was smelly. Bathroom was full of soap scum. Breakfast was simple and the food was of poor quality. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was ok and so were the staff. But the room we got was awful. Everything was somewhat ok in the room except the bathroom. The bathroom reeked of sewage, and when we told the front desk, the lady cleaned it up but the smell came back. So we had no choice but to suck it up until we finished the stay.

Only there for 1 night so hard to judge but reasonably comfortable hotel if not a bit dated. Only 10mins walk from the town centre so well positioned. Has on site free parking. Rooms are a good size, clean and tidy. Mini bar included but no tea/coffee making facilities. No proper shower. Sit down or crouch in Bath job I'm afraid. Staff very friendly and very good English. Would I return.Yes!

Very convenient for market staff very nice stop here several times over the last few years great location. Most of the rooms on the front of the hotel have been refurbished to a high standard. Not saying the other rooms are bad. Great place to stay

Really disappointed with the hotel. I've been to Bruges with my wife before and had a great time. On this occasion we were given a room that had been heavily smoked in - and considering we also had our 3 month old baby with us I wasn't impressed.

I spoke to the lady on reception after we found out, and she said there were no other rooms available but she'd leave a note for the manager. I told her the Smoke alarm had been covered with tinfoil as well which is presumably a very large safety risk.

With Bruges booked up we didn't have an option except to stay in the room. When checking out I spoke to a different lady who got the manager for me, but all he could muster was "people do stupid things". I didn't even get an apology.

Went here for new year 2015 and it was lovely brilliant view from the hotel room kids loved it staff was very very friendly and breakfast was good ☺
