Entertaining museum if you are interested in comic books and what to learn more about their history and their creators, specially with characters such as Tin Tin and The Smurfs. Great selection of comics at the souvenir store.

Really enjoyed my time here! I don't speak Frech but you will have a good time as long as you know English! This place had many interactive games and brought back a lot of childhood memory for me! Defitelt recommend visiting!

Fantastic museum with lots of mini expos of artists and the history of the comic. Really open and beautiful building, lots of types of artistry and the development of comics alongside a wonderful little shop and library to tempt you into reading in a cosy corner

The museum is hosted in a beautiful Art Nouveau building.
The permanent exhibition shows a history of Comics, mainly focused on Europe, and gives elementary information on how comics are built.
The museum is enjoyable by a vast public.
Everything is explained in English, but it is useful to know some French in order to enjoy the comic strips shown in the panels.
The museum includes a library with comic books in different languages which is freely accessible by the visitors.

Lots to learn about European comic book history and their genesis, all set in a beautiful building. The topics are not really deepened though, real aficionados could be disappointed. Limited activities for young kids who can't read yet.

Really interesting! Worth a visit. Although I brought my kids along, I would say, its better for adults who enjoy cartoons. Younger children maybe will not appreciate it so much

Tourist trap! Two floors but really small. Not worth the money! Took my kids (12-10) because the love and know to draw and they didn't enjoy it. Needs interactions maybe at least a spot kids can do their own comics!

It was a hilarious trip to my kindest. There are almost all of the cartoons someone has watched. Very nice presentation. Worth visiting for people who like cartoons.

Where: Brussels Comic Book Museum - Bruxelles
What: A museum just for comic books
How was it: The weather wasn't great and we had been looking for this place for some time but kept getting lost. Finally on one of the last days in Brussels we found it. It was nice going through it, we just found it lacked interaction in some parts.
Grade: Eli = 4, Serge = 4
Recommend: Yeah, it was nice. If looking for something to do on a rainy day, you can come here.

Decent museum. I'm sure I would have enjoyed it more if I spoke/could read French as many of the comics themselves were unreadable to me so I was left to look at the art and the descriptions which were mainly about the artist rather than the comic on display. With that said I came out of the museum with a greater appreciation of the art and the artists (I really like art so everyone may not feel the same)
