De la bonne cuisnes, un voyage entre la grande bouffe et la nouvelle cuisine. Le cadre est tres ouvert. Seul ou en groupe, on se sent bien a l'aise. Et le patron, Xavier, super sympa. On se sent tellement a l'aise, c'est dur de retourner au boulot apres le lunch. J'ai ramene mes parents deux jours apres

I was there this week with a group of 17 collegues/directors. We didn't have to choose a set menu which is necessary in most of the restaurants in Brussels. Everything was perfect. Good quality food. Very nice welcome. I/We will definetely go back.

This is a dreadful restuarant, I wouldn't recommend it at all. Service very slow and the server incapable of remembering the order (why he couldn't write it down was a mystery) which led to us getting the wrong starters and having to wait for ages as they recooked the main course. The red wine was practically frozen instead of being lightly chilled. The menu was reasonably priced, but the portions were tiny - 3 bruscetta (the type you get for free in many other restaurants - for 6euro. The chef clearly loves salt as the only flavour in his food, and the 'home made potatoes' came straight from McCains. Awful, awful, awful. A waste of a saturday night.

We are arrive at Cosi at 8 greeted by a waitress who most likely longed to be somewhere else, far far away. And if I had a say in it I'll send her there promptly. I eat the gazpacho as a starter and it tastes nothing like the many gazpachos I've had before. And I don't mean that in a positive way. We're done with our starters at arround 8:30 and this is where the long wait begins. When the clock strikes 10 we still haven't seen our food. And no one has approached us to say that they are sorry about the wait. When we finally get our main courses I'm sadly surprised to see that the veal I've ordered comes with fries and a sauce that's consisting of heated gazpacho. That's just lame lame lame. So don't bother going here. There are plenty good restaurants in the naighbourhood.
