  Upazila Parishad (উপজেলা পরিষদ) is the center of official government works of Monohardi. Its located near the girls' school Road (গার্লস স্কুল রোড). Its quite big compound having some official building. The UNO (উপজেলা নির্বাহী অফিসার) is one of the main person. It has a pond also which is known as Upazila Pond (উপজেলা পুকুর)and also have stuff quarters. Its quite digital, you know,having multiple building, net connection etc. Well, people of this upazila have to come here for their different type of problems. Well,govt. help, is found here.
