Still Sony Cinema Hall is operational in this era when many of the cinemas had already disappeared! You can enjoy Bangla latest movies in this Hall. The premise has good number food options, which includes fast food, Chinese and local foods. There are also different brand ready-made garments show rooms.

সনি সিনেমা প্রাইভেট লি: মিরপুর ১ নং এ অবস্থিত। এতে প্রদর্শণী কক্ষ ১ টা। এখানে প্রতি শুক্রবার থেকে নতুন মুক্তিপ্রাপ্ত সিনেমা প্রদর্শিত হয় থাকে।
মিরপুর ১ নং সিগন্যাল হতে পূর্ব দিকে ২০০ গজ এগিয়ে হাতের বাম পাশে সনি সিনেমা হল অবস্থিত।
সেবা সমূহ: পর্দা এনালগ। সাউন্ড সিস্টেম নরমাল।
এই হলে শুধুমাত্র বাংলাদেশের নির্মিত ছবি প্রদর্শিত হয়ে থাকে। হলের ২য় তলার ওয়েটিং রুমে একসাথে ৫০ জনের বসার ব্যবস্থা রয়েছে। মেয়েদের বসার ব্যবস্থা হলের পশ্চিম দিকে। বসার জন্য লোহা ও ফোমের তৈরী সারিবদ্ধ চেয়ারের ব্যবস্থা রয়েছে। হলের সামনে প্রদর্শিত ছবি বড় ব্যানার টাঙ্গানো থাকে। হলের নিচতলা এবং দ্বিতীয় তলার বারান্দায় পরবর্তীতে আসা সিনেমার পোষ্টার ষ্ট্যান্ড লাগানো থাকে।
নিরাপত্তার স্বার্থে হলে প্রবেশের সময় নারী এবং পুরুষদের আলাদাভাবে মেটাল ডিটেক্টর দিয়ে পরীক্ষা করা হয়ে থাকে।
শো শুরু হওয়া থেকে শেষ হওয়া পর্যন্ত হলের প্রধান দরজা বন্ধ থাকে। প্রদর্শনী সময়: সকাল ১০ টা (শুধুমাত্র শুক্রবার) দুপুর ১২.৩০ মিনিট, বিকাল ৩ টা, সন্ধ্যা ৬ টা, রাত ৮.৩০ মিনিট। আসন ও টিকেট মূল্য: আসন সংখ্যা ১০০০ টি।
আসনের শ্রেণী বিন্যাস হলো - ডিসি, রিয়াল এবং স্টল।
টিকেট কাউন্টার ৩ টা। টিকেটের মূল্য ডিসি ২৫ টাকা, রিয়াল ২০ টাকা এবং স্টল ১৫ টাকা। সপ্তাহের কোন দিন টিকেটের মূল্য কম রাখা হয় না। ক্যাশের মাধ্যমে টিকেটের মূল্য পরিশোধ করতে হয়। কার্ডের মাধ্যমে পরিশোধের ব্যবস্থা নেই। এই সিনেমা হলের নিচ তলায় ২টি এবং ২য় তলায় একটি ফুড কর্ণার রয়েছে। এখানে চিপস, বিস্কুট, কেক, চকলেট, কোমল পানীয় পাওয়া যায়। চিপস ১৫ টাকা, বিস্কুট ২০ টাকা, কোম্পানী ভেদে কোমল পানীয় ২৫০ এম এল বোতল ২২ টাকা থেকে ২৫ টাকা, ৫০০ এম এল বোতল ৩৫ টাকা থেকে ৪০ টাকা এবং ১ লিটারের বোতল ৬০ টাকা থেকে ৬৫ টাকায় পাওয়া যায়। সিনেমা হলের পূর্ব দিকে ছেলেদের টয়লেট এবং পশ্চিম দিকে মেয়েদের টয়লেট অবস্থিত। এই সিনেমা হলে ১ম তলা ও ২য় তলায় ছেলেদের ১৫ টি এবং মেয়েদের জন্য ১৫ টি টয়লেট রয়েছে। হলের প্রত্যেক তলায় অগ্নি নির্বাপণ যন্ত্র, বালি ও পানি সর্বদা মজুদ থাকে।হলের নিজস্ব জায়গায় ৮ টা গাড়ী পার্কিং করার ব্যবস্থা রয়েছে। গাড়ী পার্কিং করতে কোন প্রকার চার্জ দিতে হয় না।প্রত্যেক তলাতে পানের পিক, থুথু বা পরিত্যাক্ত বস্তু ফেলানোর জন্য তিনটা করে মেটালের তৈরী ওয়েষ্ট বাস্কেট রয়েছে।কোন নম্বরে বুকিং দেওয়া হয় না। এই সিনেমা হলের কোন ওয়েব সাইট নেই। শীতাতপ নিয়ন্ত্রন ব্যবস্থা নেই, মোবাইল চার্জ দেওয়ার ব্যবস্থা নেই।

It's a very old but good cinema hall and recently renovated. Some good bangladeshi clothing brands have their shops here as well as few decent food restaurants including Sharma house, cooper's etc. Their is also few wholesale garment item you can find at the basement.

This place is very good to catch the bus. But it has some bad history of hijacking, yesterday , my brother in law lost his bag and some important document. He was in Riksha and a motor biker pull his bag and fled away . so be careful about it.

A good place for cinema lovers. Near zoo and botanical garden. In populated area of Dhaka, Mirpur. Prime location in a popular main road. Very nice environment. You can visite here for a birds eye view.

Sony cinema hall is one of the most popular one in Dhaka.Actually it locates in Mirpur-1.It's an important point of Dhaka city where you can get anything. Tickets are not too much costly.Internal Environment is average.Authorities behavior also normal.But after all you can go there to watch Bangla cinema.

Place for entertainment. Very dirty area. Not safe place for women. If you go there, you will find lots of prostitute and they will influence you to take them inside. So be careful.
