Shyamoli Cinema hall is one of the oldest and well known landmark in Dhaka city. Few years back it renovated so that you may feel comfort here to bring your family members. If you want to see movie with cheap rate , so this is for you. The Hall room is not so big but whatever it has now is really amazing. The theater is fully air conditioned and you can enjoy the movie with good vibe. The sound system is improved a lot. You may not allow external food but you can buy popcorn and other snack while entering to theater. The price of snacks are a bit higher. having the parking facility is additional benefit here. You can go and enjoy the movie with your friends or someone special. They should promote their business more so that movie lovers can have better chance to enjoy Bengali movies. It would be really great if they can introduce system for playing 3D movies. After enjoying movie, you can visit the shopping mall here or you can have more delicious food from food court from top floor.

It's the most busy place one of them the main bus stop is shyamoli is the one of them it's always crowded and many people come here for work many shopping malls and many other shopping and eating and international hotel is there.its a busy and working place.there is servicing centre there.and hospital is there.doctor visits the hospital and patients get well soon. Arrangements are very good. Sitting is comfortable and amenities are ok. Would easily be among top 5 Hall in the city. Problem is the space is small and only one movie is showing at a time.

The hall isn't too premium if you compare it with star Cindy. But it has the most comfortable sitting I've ever experienced. Felt like I was sitting at home. Screen quality needs improving. Sound is OK.

This is comparatively a new cinema hall. I went yesterday for a movie. In the interval, the authority continued the film without any break. And suddenly they stopped the movie for nearly 5 minutes and started it without any warning bell. This is utterly disappointing. And also they need to check their sound system I think.
And I don't think they should have packet chips as a snack. Because a lil sound is too much in a cinema hall where the rustle of those packs annoyed the buyers too, I believe.

a good cinemahall for locality. sound system is not best but not worst. ticket price is reasonable. deluxe 150 premium 250. air cooling is good enough but can't maintain properly. screen is big enough. environment is not clean. you will find cockroach in your seat. they can't provide lots of food/refreshment option. price of popcorn is high compare to quality.

I like it because it is combination of modern cineplex and classic cinema hall. Many facilities are missing like not so food option. Also, they should bring some new verifies of move. Many time they repeat same movie.

I personally prefer this place than Star Cineplex or Club Royale. The overall environment is on par with the mentioned two places. But the display quality is far far better! And also the cost is less! Too bad, they don't bring as many hollywood films like the other places do.

one of the oldest cinema hall ( movie theatre) in Bangladesh. it's located at Shyamoli, mirpur, Dhaka. mostly local movie play's here. Due to a construction style that was ahead of the era, the hall became popular within short time of its launch. Film lovers from different countries of the world including Japan, Korea, Africa, Australia, Russia and England came to watch movies.

In recent, this is a good place to hangout. Place is average comfortable, seat is not so comfortable, sometimes you feel hot in there although A/C is working.
After cinema, you can have food on 5th floor. Its really cheap than other area and taste is good.

এই হলটি মোটামুটি ভাল। ভিতরে ক্যান্টিন আছে। পপুলার মুভি না হলে লোকজন একটু কমই হয়। তবে শুক্রবারে লোকজন বেশি হয়। আগে থেকে টিকেট কাটার ব্যবস্থা আছে। বসুন্ধরা সিনেপ্লেক্সের তুলনায় টিকের দাম অনেক কম। তাই ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের জন্য এটি খুব ভাল অপশন হতে পারে। সাউন্ড সিস্টেমও খারাপ না।

I liked the hall and everything. But, the projection screen is dark. It's a problem in case of dark scene.
BTW, popcorn was good in the hall cantine.

Good place for watching movies, nice interior, wide screen and fantastic sound system. Seats are bit cogested though, but fare is comperatively cheap. Management and circulation is not up to the mark. Lack of refreshment items availability.

Once it was a renound cinema hall in Dhaka city. But a long time, likely few years cinema hall has been closed. Cinema hall Bhaban broken down and constructed a new modern shopping complex at that place but it is known as shyamoli cinema hall till now.

I Appreciate them because they used to show class and good movie. As per quality of the hall the ticket price is expensive. Sometime AC does not work then it becomes very hot inside. Mostly student used to go for watching movie. Authority does not allow outside food and inside food is expensive as well. Specially popcorn price will make you mad.

Have watched two movies here so far, and enjoyed both experiences. In my opinion, the best least expensive movie theater in Dhaka. I paid only 250 BDT for the highest-priced top-tier seats, and an even cheaper 150 BDT for the regular seats.

Truly well maintained cineplex in Dhaka city. Ticket price is lower than other cineplex and you can still enjoy Bengali or Hollywood movie here. Watched many movies here. Wonder women is the recent one. Only thing is you can't watch 3D movie here. Great place to pass some time!!
