Best cricket stadium in Bangladesh. Home of cricket for Bangladesh cricket team, both men and women. Best cricket stadium in Bangladesh but capacity only around 25000. Facilities were good previously but now it reduced a bit. Toilet and sit need to be improved. Only one giant screen works but two is there. Full stadium need to be shaded. Selling of ticket need to be in online in a easy way also. Ticket blacking is a problem here.

National Cricket stadium of Bangladesh. It is considered as lucky venue of Bangladesh Cricket Team. It is located in Mirpur 2. Also known as Mirpur Stadium. Easy to go from any part of Dhaka City. It's capacity is above 25000. Beautiful gallery, nice sitting arrangements & well decorated. Better access facilities for all. Parking, adequate toilets & refreshment are available during match. Need some renovation in some part of the stadium. Bangladesh Cricket Academy is adjacent to the stadium. It is the best vanue for cricket in Bangladesh. You will love the atmosphere during match. Over all, in a good environment.

It is one of the best cricket stadium of our country. More than 100 test matches has been played in this venue. It is the home of Bangladesh cricket. There is a free entry in test cricket only for students. We have enjoyed many games here. All the crowds cheer their team. It is the home ground of Bangladesh cricket.

One of the nicest cricket stadium in Bangladesh. Fans are enjoying watching day night match in this mirpur stadium and the flag light is very good and they got giant screen for the telecast the game live so fans can watch live and also can see in the big screen. In the match day they have very delicious food to offer for visitors and foods are little bit expensive than usual. Overall crowds love to watch games in this lovely cricket stadium.

A lively crowd cheering from all about.
There are foods sold here like pastries, rolls, and other fried foods. Drinks include water, soft drinks and instant coffee. Foods are pretty expensive here.
The washroom were clean but unfortunately not all have solid locks.
The place could use a little bit of renovation.
We sat at the VIP arrangements and the view f4om here was phenomenal! Love the crowds!

Also called Mirpur Stadium, is the ain cricket ground of Bangladesh. Located 10 kilometres away from the city centre in Mirpur, the ground holds approximately 25,000 spectators. The venue was taken over by the Bangladesh Cricket Board in 2004. The stadium has a field dimensions of 186 m X 136 m.

Its a good place to enjoy cricket here. Management is not bad. Neat and clean and it has world class drainage system. Be aware of extreme prices of food when you order something inside the gallery.

This is the Home of Cricket for Bangladesh. I have to admit the stadium is situated in a wrong place. Moreover, environment around the stadium is neither satisfactory nor match the international standard. National Cricket Stadium of a country should be more attractive and well decorated. It should be located at a place where there's no traffic jam, sound or air pollution etc. The capacity of the stadium is also very poor. Country's biggest stadium holds only 25,000 people at the same time. Oh! It's not enough specially when the stadium is located at Dhaka, an extremely over populated city where more than 10 million people live in.

The ground was originally built for football and athletics and was hence rectangular in shape. To bring it back to a shape suited for cricket, a lot of renovation had to be done, and also the athletics tracks had to be dug up. About three feet of soil was excavated to remove all the red clay. PVC pipes were fit in before filling it up with rock chips and sand and then grass. The slope is nice and even, a difference of 29 inches from the wicket to the boundary. The ground was fitted with floodlights in 2009; it is able to host day/night cricket matches.

The ground hosted its first Test match on 25 May 2007 where the home team played India. The first ODI took place on 18 December 2005 where Bangladesh played Scotland. On 11 October 2011 the stadium hosted its first T20I between Bangladesh And West Indies.

This place feels nostalgic. It feels home. The groundsmen here is one of the words best if not the best. The drainage is top notch. However, the seats and the entrance to those seats are really old fashioned, weathered to every detail and absolute trash. I'm being honest. The area surrounding the stadium too is not taken care off and is not renovated. If these are done, then the stadium will surely stand out. A lot.

Country's premier cricket stadium. Visitors will still have to improve the service with some modern benefits. Good in the field, it is said to be one of the best exhaust systems. Seating arrangement for viewing the game is perfect. Various sections with different ticket prices are divided. There are some restrictions on some items due to security, so be aware of what you are not allowed to bring. Drinks and meals are available inside the stadium so you can have refreshments.

Its really enjoyable to watch a cricket match in this stadium. You'll find the environment very festive during matches. Toilets are available in almost all blocks of the gallery but those are not very clean. Space for prayer is also available in the eastern galleries. Grand stand is the closest gallery to the outfield but ticket of grand stand is too much expensive. The electronic scoreboard is placed over eastern gallery so if you like to see some replay actions during a match you shouldn't buy a ticket of eastern gallery. In most of the cricket matches bags, water bottle, headphones are prohibited. If you bring anything other than your mobile phone you might have to loose it.

One of the nearest places to see a match if ur in Dhaka.

Though They collects coins on the gate and don't keep any records. So whatever they collect it's a revenue. In other words extortion.
Collect it but for a good cause as donation and people will provide intentionally.

If you go there to watch a match be sure not to expect that your seats are reserved. Viewers would sit anywhere they like. So try to turn up as early as possible.

One of the best cricket stadiums in Asia and the best in Bangladesh. Just one problem and that's the fence surrounding most of the common gallery installed for security purposes obstruct views in some way and the police are not that friendly. But other than that it's perfect. You wouldn't find racism here and the atmosphere is simply the best. Bangladeshi fans are passionate and most of the international matches have jam - packed audiences (around 25K) cheering for their team at the top of the lungs. If you're a tourist coming to bangladesh, this is the sports venue you must go to.

It, locally known by name Mirpur Stadium, is the most facilitated international standard cricket stadium of Bangladesh. Capacity of this stadium is more than 25000. All three format cricket Test, ODI & T20 are played here. Its the best for its draining system. After rain, it becomes ready to play very quickly. But its should have more facilities for the spectators.

Love to enjoy cricket match here. Lots of good memories here. 2011 World Cup Cricket, opening match. Bang vs Ind, it was bad game of losing but the environment created was outstanding. The noise of crowd is far far better than any other cricket playing countries.
