Good place for a little hike or nature photography.
The place is under ticketing system. NO BERGAIN on the tickets.
Group is preferred but alone will also not be any problem.

It's on my own districts, I have visited several time there. It is just awesome to visit that place. It's totally calm and quiet. You will get a feel for nature there. Natural things are the most extreme there.

This place is literary beautiful one for spending your free time and be refreshed yourself. There are some tea gardens near the main park. You can tracking there and walking inside the hills or 'tilla' and enjoying the natural beauty for a long time. There are monkeys, snakes and some other animals so that you can feel the real beauty of the nature. You can also see through the whole area from the watch tower centre of the park or you can say "forest" which is about 120 feet by length. There are also some cottages as rest room and some toilets near the park gate. Actually it is a very good picnic spot and any aged people can enjoy the whole area very much.

Get a real feeling of the wild, be careful inside the jungle, you easily get lost if you don't have a guide. Wear good shoes and take GPS with you. Don't go inside the forest while raining.

Satchari National Park (Bengali: সাতছড়ি) is a national park in Habiganj District, Bangladesh. After the 1974 Wild Life Preservation Act, in 2005 Satchari National Park was built on 243 hectares (600 acres) of land. Literally ‘Satchari’ in Bengali means ‘Seven Streams’. There are seven streams flowing in this jungle, and the name ‘Satchari’ came from there.

Details:
The park is situated in Raghunandan hill, under Paikpara Union, Chunarughat Upazilla, Habiganj District, under Sylhet region. It is 130 kilometres (81 mi) from the capital city of Bangladesh, Dhaka. There are 9 tea gardens nearby. Satchari tea garden is on the West and Chaklapunji tea garden is on the East. Approximately 24 families of Tipra Tribe are living now in the Tipra village.

Plants:
There are approximately 200 and more trees are in Satchari National Park. Shaal (Shorea robusta), Segun (Tectona grandis), Agar, Garjan, Chapalish, Palm, Mehgani, Krishnachur, Dumur (Ficus), Jamrul, Shidha Jarul, Awal, Malekas, Eucalyptus, Akashmoni, Bamboo trees, bet trees (regional name Mutra) are the most common species of trees found there.

Wildlife:
Wildlife in this park is rich. Red Junglefowl, Red-headed Trogon, Oriental Pied Hornbill, Pygmy Woodpecker are some of them. Critically endangered Hoolock Gibbon also resides here. Also Phayre’s Leaf Monkey, a species of Langur also resides here.
Nisharga Shahayata Prakalpa
Beside the National Forest Department, an NGO named “Nisharga”, with their “Nisharga Shahayata Prakalpa”, observes the park. Beside the preserving forest they provide eco-tours. The NGO also sells some fancy items there

A very dense rain forest. People can trek here. You can find guide for the trekking from the Shatchori National Park Information Center area. Please bring enough water (at least 1 liter) before starting the trekking. There are few bridges above the canals (Chori). Be careful crossing the wooden bridges

Monkeys, snakes, birds are seen here.
However the trekking for this jungle is best in winter.
