Only Recreation Park and Zoo in Rangpur Division. Its the largest Zoo in North Bengal. Its situated at in front of Police line School & College in Honumantola. Its one of the oldest amusement and recreation park in Rangpur City. There also a Children's Park, Restaurant and a lake. Restaurant food quality is worthless.

One of visiting place of Rangpur city. Established in 80's. Now it has The Bengal Tiger which roar. The Indian Lion is also active one. Many monkeys, deer, snacks, birds. A big case containing different types of birds. Crocodile can be seen here. A hippo is welcoming you in the front. A children park is here. The entrance is beautifully designed. Many trees creating a nice view. Hope that you like your visit here.

It is a good park for everyone. specifically for children. there are some interesting animals that children would love to see. there are also children park whare has rides for children. you can also go with your family to enjoy. Environment is so peace and quiet. foods are good and little costly. management is good but they have to upgrade much better and add more animals. there are also a lake. you can ride in boats and fishing in the lake.

We (I+wife+3years son), Have visited this place many times ! A big hippo, parrot, eagle,
Monkeys, spoted Deer's, (chitra horin), Maya horin, donekey, lion, tiger, hayena, Ajogar(python), Spotted panther (chita Bagh),
Peacock, varieties of Birds, Bear, crocodiles, and a small shishu park are available there.
Security system of this zoo is very poor. In everyday, young boys and girls (lover's) are facing trouble with local zoo boys, basically the zoo boys are selling peanut, but, chocklets, ice cream, some time those boys force villege comer to buy third product with high price.
We need to be a careful here to buy and eat anything.
This place should be cleaned from unauthorised seller or people. If possible everybody visitor, traders, helper, worker, doctor etc. who inter the zoo used I'd card.

To me , this zoo is one of the best zoo in Bangladesh. Even the management of the zoo is quite better than NATIONAL ZOO, Dhaka. The zoo authority provide meal twice a week for large carnivore. The cage for animal is not so big but its quite sufficient to roam.
They have Bengal tiger, lion, Gharial, crocodile, Deer, monkey , capped langur etc.
The zoo remain open from 10 am and closed at 5:0 pm.

One and only government Zoo in Rangpur. It is the largest zoo of north Bengal. There is a large lake inside it where there is a facilities of boating and fishing. It is one of the famous picnic spot and recreation place of this region.

The zoo has got quite a handful of animals like Tiger, Lion, Monkey, Hippo, Deer, Donkey, Horse, Bear, Ghorial and Birds like peacock, parrot, Caselary bird. The kids like the place very much. There is small kids zone there. One can also enjoy boating here in the lake. There is a restaurant here. The place has a huge number of different trees and benches for sitting. There is some food shops inside the zoo but the price is very high and I am not sure about the quality. There is syndicate who can blackmail you if they suspect you are there for a date. They will force you to buy juice, ice-cream and other things with unusually high price even if you are not willing to buy.

A beautiful place of Rangpur District of Bangladesh as a zoo. For enjoyable place of basically kids but all of the people like the animal kingdom. I like it. There are Hippopotamus, Deer, Lion, Tiger, Parrot, Snake, Birds, Falcon, Crocodile, Monkey, Ass, Kesoari, Rabbit, and more animal at the zoo. Very good place for mind refresh.
