Primeasia University is founded on an agenda of social responsibility to provide higher education to all deserving candidates since higher education is the most effective tool to meet today’s diversified societal challenges including population explosion, illiteracy, poverty, food insecurity, and depleting naturally endowed resources while, side-by-side, it helps establish entrepreneurship, leadership, and good governance in the society. It is a key to intellectual growth that allows one to develop new models and standards, to promote peace and freedom, and to be guided by strong moral reasoning, ethics, dignity, and enthusiasm.

In Bangladesh, large numbers of public and private universities have been established. However, the increase in the universities’ number, students, and faculty do not appear to have been reflected in a similar increase in the quality of education.
Primeasia University emphasizes that higher education is critical for advancing knowledge and improving the lifestyle of the community, and as such, combines academic excellence with an innovative and entrepreneurial approach to research that engage and challenge students and staff in their pursuit of learning. Primeasia University plans to bring the best educational technologies to satisfy the individual and community needs. Primeasia University places utmost importance on strategic planning for quality assurance that constitutes all planning tools to formulate the university mission, vision, objectives and action plan to implement quality education. Primeasia University aims to establish a high degree of professionalism, objectivity, and commitment, and to monitor quality of education through periodical meetings, peer reviews, external and internal assessments and feedback from current students, parents, past graduates, and related stakeholders.
Primeasia University’s role in channelizing the human resources in education and services has become exemplary; since its inception in 2003, the University’s growth has been phenomenal due to such continuous efforts of improving the teaching-learning environment by taking various measures including the classroom technologies.
With the current enrollment of about 5000 students and about 200 faculty members, Primeasia today, is in a distinguished position to issue this prospectus to not only analyze the current academic quality in higher education but also to ensure that the Primeasia will continue to upgrade the infrastructure to meet the changing needs of students and employers.

Primeasia University is situated in the prime location of Banani. Side by side two buildings have been populated with students of different disciplines. It the second tier University of Bangladesh . But the textile program is very popular from the very beginning. The textile department is headed by excellent professor and the faculties are very good. Regarding the Lab equipment s and student quality it is one of the lead universities for textile in Bangladesh. The other program pharmacy is the next prominent discipline which attracts the large number of learner. Then comes CSE, EEE and BABA program which is average quality departments. The overall student intake is average. The University is not IEB accreditated till 2018. The space and the infrastructure of the university is above average . The permanent campus will be at Purbachal beside main road.

Background of the Establishment of the University:
The goal of the University will be to provide an excellent Liberal Arts, Science, Business Studies, IT, Engineering,and Medical Education for students with a view to equipping them with the skill and knowledge necessary for leading the country in its quest for development. Along with these, the University will also provide an environment for faculty development so as to provide good faculty for the students. Faculty will be provided with an environment in which they can further enhance teaching skills as well as develop their research.

Primeasia University received Government permission in August 2003. Subsequently, Primeasia University started its journey with only 35 students in the fall semester of 2003. Within a short period of time Primeasia University grew up to a significantly large university.
At present, the University has Textile Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Architecture departments under the School of Engineering; Microbiology, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Public Health and Nutrition departments under the School of Biological Science; BBA, MBA, International Tourism and Hospitality Management departments under the School of Business Administration and Law department under the School of Law. Today, the total number of students of this university is around 4000. All the departments are well equipped with necessary laboratories, libraries and other facilities.
Mr. M.A. Khaleque, the present Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Primeasia University, is the founder of Primeasia University. For establishing Primeasia University and for bring it up to the present state, the efforts of Mr. M.A. Khaleque is worth mentioning.
