  it was stablished in 1962.Patiya govt.college on of the famous college in this city.
  in every year student get good GPA.
  But the environment of this college is not good for student.There is a lot of dust. I know this environment is not comfortable for student.
  The paints of the Building is too old
  for this reason I cant say it is naturaly or artificialy nice college.

  Patiya Govt. College is located in Patiya Upazilla, Bangladesh. It is one of the reputed college in Chittagong district.
  
  History and Background
  
  It was established in the year 1963 in an area of about 2.5 acres of land. The land for the foundation of the college was funded by Patiya Ideal High School. It has a separate science building which was established in the year 1967 with a view to promote the science education and research in the region. At present the area of the college has been increased to 4.76 acres. It was nationalized in the year 1980 by the government of Bangladesh.
  
  Subjects and Departments
  
  It has two wings. One wing is concerned with Higher Secondary level education and another one is for Graduation level education. About five thousand students study in the college in various levels. The Honors pass course subjects include Management, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Political Science, Philosophy, English and Islamic History. For HSC level Science, Business Studies and Humanity majors are available.
  
  Facilities Available for the Students
  
  There are 2 big buildings in the college for both academic and administrative purposes. There are 27 classrooms in total in the college. The college has a library for the students with all the necessary books and journals. It has separate common rooms for both male and female students.
