Still the best 5 star experience in Bangladesh. Lot of options for Buffet breakfast, lunch and Dinner. Enough parking space. But hotel approach road is a bit busy. Takes sometime to reach. Food is very tasty.

It's a great hotel in the middle of Dhaka city. The hotel has been in business for a long time and great to see how they have maintained their old world charms while bringing in new and modern styles of functioning. However you will love the services, the warmth and the hospitality of the stuff there during your stay. Starting from the concierge, to the front office desk and the stuff at the restaurant and the room service, housekeeping etc, everyone putting an extra effort to make your fell at home and loved. I think this is something which the hotel should continue encouraging because, for a traveller like me, who stays a lot of hotels, such small things makes a big difference.

Water heater for making tea was really dirty. did not expect that form this hotel. anyways. staff was really loud when they pass by the door you can hear there gossip. other things are ok. need more maintenance.

As in the other hotels we stayed at in Bangladesh they do not quite live up to their star status. Some of the staff were very good and helpful, some food was also good. The room was okay, the bed comfortable the bathroom tiny for a 5* hotel. The people running the hotels in Bangladesh should visit their neighboring countries to see the excellence they have in some of their hotels and what the competition is like.

One of the oldest Five star in Bangladesh, well maintained, cost wise delivery perfect. Though maintained by Govt. people but as because it is maintained with global chain line up, it is nice and cozy place. Food is perfect but travel from Airport to Hotel is bit hectic due to huge traffic to cross.

A real feel of a real hotel. Always been my favourite star hotel from my childhood. Spacious, low rise, elegant. After recent renovation it really now completely able to pace up with all those new high rise hotels.

Breakfast - I will say in short "best in town". All restaurants got great choice of food.

Room tariff: lower than what it offers.

Definitely recommended.

It's the best five star hotel in the country. It has all the facilities money can buy. It has fitness center, sauna, beauty parlour, swimming pool. It also contains in house restaurant, room delivery. There is separate place for conference, board meeting, winter garden for weeding, concert or birthday party. They accept payment in multiple currencies. It has money exchange service. Only one drawback it's too much costly. You can get a five star hotel room in half of it's price.

It's an old, but fail-safe hotel. Rooms are large, location is amazingly convenient especially for people who came for officials works with public bodies or banks.

Their food is good, meal spread is decent, and they make the best club-sandwich in toasted brown bread in any hotel that I've ever stayed!

The pool area is amazing.

For official events and weddings, this is the best destination in my opinion in terms of a combination of location, food quality and value.

This one was the first five star hotel in Bangladesh. Now it's quality is going down. Food quality is good. Swimming pool is clean but their chairs are not clean enough. Overall I like this hotel. I have many memories there with friends and family.

Pros:
- Wonderful poolside & OASIS view
- excellent service standard
- staffs positively response to their guests at their best level
- Local vibe exist in this place
- Excelelnt and delicious local and subcontinent food.
- newly renovated room

Cons:
- Renovated room standard not up to the mark.
- Poor variation in food menu in buffet
- less spicy food for the subcontinent people

Finally i can say its a best place for business oriented people.

I joined there for many press conference. Its really good one in Bangladesh. Large ballroom for party and other occasion. Tight security and KPI zone. Hotel is very close to a large and renowned shopping mall.

By western standards, this would be an average three- to four star hotel. But surely enough, this is one of the best hotels in Dhaka. Good value for money, in the heart of the city. The restaurant serves decent food, and staff is friendly but of course not as professional as in a first-world hotel. But everybody understands.

Pan Pacific hotel is one of the oldest hotel in Dhaka city. Once upon a time their service was A class but now a days they are using plastic bowls for serving their food in pool side. Which seems was very weird. I don't like the approval becoz they they charged the premium price. So I do not find any specialty in this hotel.

One of the best five star hotels of Dhaka city. Very nice and located at the center of Dhaka. Their ball rooms are really great for meetings, seminar and any other big gathering. They offer good and delicious food in different restaurants.

Lovely ambience. Food is good. Buffet has good variety. The swimming pool is superb. I love the ambience and surroundings of the swimming pool. It is quaint and picturesque. But I was horrified to see a guy swimming wearing a cotton T shirt and shorts. None of the swimming pool or hotel staff instructed him to go out and change into proper swimming gear. So unhygienic!! Yes they need to become more professional and hotel needs some modernization. Washrooms are not sparkling like five star hotels #

Nothing great. There is some street noise so bring earplugs. 7/8th floors are renovated with the Executive lounge. The lounge staff is very helpful. The lounge itself is not bad it gives you a decently quiet place to work.
