Oxford International School (OIS) is an International English medium co-education school following the academic programme of the University of Cambridge, UK up to GCE O and A Level. It is one of the earliest English medium schools in Bangladesh. The Oxford International School was founded in 1987.

The main campus is at Dhanmondi R/A in Dhaka District. The Junior Dhanmondi Campus is in the same suburb, and there are also the Banasree Project Campus, the Gulshan Campus, and the Uttara Campus.

The school is very well known with brilliant minds both the students and the teacher. But there is lack of discipline among the students. And last but not the least don't use dhanmondi 27 road during 8 to 9 am and 12 to 2 pm trust me. The traffic is unbearable and it is due to the parking of the cars blocking the road, and guess what those are the cars of the students and teachers blocking. The road. Horrendous place to be at the mentioned time above. But the institutes studying quality is top notch.
