Nahar Garden is situated in Manikganj which is far from Capital, Dhaka. The place is good but not so exciting. It may be a good place for children. Bigger area but divided into different spots for different picnic groups.

A Great Picnic place.
The best time to organize the picnic is when it is the winter. The scorching heat of the sun is also not felt. Also, the sun heat during the winters soothes the skin. For this reason, most of the picnics specially the picnics of various institutions like schooks and colleges used to organized during the onset and the offset of the winter. However, the entire winter months are suitable for the picnics to be organized.
The place has a mini zoo with various different animals, mostly birds. Nowadays almost every picnic spot likely to have a mini zoo, keeping and displaying various wild animals. However, there is a dispute on whether these zoos are cruel or not but they are much attracted by the viewer.
Overall, I'll say to pay a visit there, you'll not get disappointed.

It's in the Manikganj District of Bangladesh. If you want to go there from Dhaka. Then you have to go to Gabtoli Bus Terminal first. Then get on to any bus of Manikganj or Paturia Ghat. Get off the bus at Golora. Get a CNG or local transport to Nahar Garden. The Entry Ticket fee is only 20 BDT. Getting in if you go to the right part first there's a place to pray surrounding by a beautiful flower garden. Then go to the straight road and can find many places to sit or take rest. On that way there's a map of Bangladesh on a vertical surface of stones. There is a boat type place slightly higher altitude. You can take beautiful selfies from the upper portion of that place. Then go straight and find a big lake at the left side. Going straight a little closer You'll find some different types of Birds. The chirping of birds make your mind totally fresh. You'll find a poultry farm on the left side. There you'll find a ostrich opened and roaming here and there and a cage of monkeys. Going there you'll find a place of rocking and so more for the children. It's a place to spend a quality afternoon there. You'll enjoy it. Cheers

Nahar garden is one of the beautiful picnic spot in Bangladesh. It is a a very silent place , a place for rural entertainment.It is located in Manikgong near Dhaka.Specilly the people of city area goes there to remember there village life.It is not a big area but decorated with nice things. There are many flower garden here. there is a pond . In the pond there are some boats. Anybody can enjoy boat riding. There is a dumy titanic at the end of the garden. There is also a small zoo. Where you can see, rubbit,hen,pecock & many kinds of birds. There are many coconut trees in it. We drunk sweet & cold water from green coconut.There is also a small spring infront of the gate. Some of us bathed there. beside Nahar gardan there is huge open space. We ran there so far as we can go.The place look so nice during the time of setting of the sun. In the garden there is also a nice mosque .Mosque is surrounded by the water . There are many statues of big & small elephents.We enjoyed the day very nicely

Very good for enjoying the small natural beauties. Best thing of Nahar Garden is it's mini zoo. Most beautiful part of the mini zoo is the collection of FINCH BIRD, Brazilian Macao, African Macao, various species of COCK & HEN, GOOSE etc. No ferocious animals are in the zoo. You don't need to worry.
This place is mostly favorite for dating specially for unmarried couple. Sometimes if someone go there with family she/he may have to face some sexual occured situation in front of their child and family person.
